Fashion with a Sense of Humor
Founded in 2016 by designer and illustrator Morgan McShea, Coffee Break Clothing is a little shop focused on offering customers unique and quirky pieces catered to those with an affinity for the irreverent... and also animals. Inspired primarily by her tuxedo cat named Bandit, Morgan decided to launch her brand with a series of tote bags featuring his mustachioed face. All items are designed and printed by hand in Seattle with the aim to make you smile.
Coffee Break Clothing hopes to make a positive difference in the industry. In 2017-2018, we donated a portion of our profits to conservation organizations including the WWF & the Honeybee Conservancy.

Frequently asked questions
Wholesale availability
Please contact me directly for questions regarding wholesale availability. We would love to have our items sold and carried by other retailers!
What brand of t-shirts do you print on, and why?
Being able to offer products that are created ethically is very important to us. For that reason, we print on t-shirts from Bella Canvas. Bella Canvas is WRAP certified, meaning that they have been recognized by a 3rd party body whose mission is to "promote ethical, humane and lawful conditions and practices in all manufacturing facilities". Bella Canvas tees are also incredibly soft!
Do you work with a print shop for any of your products?
Yes. I work with a local shop here in Seattle to print my t-shirts. The reason is that my shirts are printed with plastisol, (as opposed to water-based ink) a longer lasting ink which requires chemicals to clean the screens after printing. I wanted to work with a shop to ensure that these chemicals are handled safely and disposed of properly.
Packaging
We are no longer using plastic packaging! The environment is something we feel very passionate about, and we no longer want to be part of the problem. We will now be using 100% recycled, non bleached wrapping paper and bio-degradable cellulose tape along with our paper mailers. We are constantly assessing our packaging to ensure that we are making responsible choices.
