Announcement   ***COUPON*** -FOR A LIMITED TIME, COUPON CODE "SNABBERSCOPE" AT CHECKOUT FOR 10% OFF! Welcome to my Shop! I hope you enjoy viewing my artwork, I certainly enjoy creating it. I am primarily a polymer clay artist, which means that each piece from my traditional line of work is hand crafted by me with my bare hands and a few small tools. I do not paint my traditional line of work, I instead use colored polymer clays, hand mixing them to achieve the desired color and look. That means that on a clay piece, every individual speck of color you see was placed individual with my hand.

About

Spreading The Love For Reptiles, Amphibians, Invertebrates and More, One Small Sculpture At A Time

One day in high school, in my attempt to cram in as many art courses as possible, I decided to take ceramics. It was not until then I even had any idea that I could make things from clay. My first semi-serious sculpture was a ceramic and polymer clay dragon that won me a blue ribbon. For a few years, I merely worked on a few dragons for fun, learning from my many failures.

I have always been a reptile lover and keeper of many snakes, and collected snake jewelry obsessively. I began to want something more... and grew tired of all of the snake jewelry out there that is just a generic snake, with over-sized heads, googly eyes, giant fangs, too many rhinestones, angry faces and misshapen bodies. One day I decided to grab some polymer clay and make some snakes for myself. I made a few spares as well. My first attempts weren't the greatest, but I still managed to sell a couple at a local reptile expo. It was then that I realized that if I spent a lot of time practicing and teaching myself how to work with this material, perhaps I could fill a very unique niche in my hobby. From my own personal drive to have better, more realistic snake jewelry, came this realization that there are probably a lot of other people out there who felt the way I do.

The past several years have been spent honing my skills and greatly refining my technique. I spend 8 hours on the average day working in my studio. I left my retail job shortly after my daughter was born and am proud to be simultaneously raising her and working at home. I look forward to developing Cold-Blooded Creation into my life's work, and my story has only just begun.

    Assistant

Boris is a dear friend of mine who hails all the way from Serbia! He came to me one day absolutely clueless about how to use polymer clay. We became friends, and I taught him how to use it, and now, he contributes to Cold-Blooded Creation's stock!

Payment
Items must be paid in full before they will be shipped.
Shipping
Items are shipped via USPS and are packed securely in bubble envelopes with plenty of protective padding. If you would like to have your shipment insured, need it shipped faster or via a different carrier, please specify this before your item is shipped (it will cost extra to do most of these things). I am not to be held responsible for uninsured items that become lost in transit.
Refunds and Exchanges
Cancellation Policy: All sales are final, unless you wish to immediately cancel your order after placing it. You can put in a request to cancel an order from me within 2 hours of ordering it. I take detailed photos of my work so that it is clear as to exactly what you are receiving.

My work is packed well, but in the event that you should receive a damaged piece in an insured shipment, you must let me know on the same day that the package tracking says it was delivered, provide clear photos of what happened, and I will be happy to help you. All USPS shipments are insured for up to $50 for free. That is their standard policy. More than that, and you need to purchase insurance if you want shipment coverage. I'm not responsible for what happens to my work once it leaves the building, and I can't be responsible for uninsured items that left my care well packed.

Custom orders not returnable, and deposits are non-refundable in the event that you no longer wish to go through with the transaction.
