Aprendí a tejer a crochet por mi cuenta durante los últimos 13 años y sigo desafiándome a mí misma con nuevos patrones con frecuencia. Con el paso del tiempo, la vida se ha vuelto difícil debido a la falta de vivienda y a enfermedades crónicas, desde episodios neurológicos hasta el uso de silla de ruedas. Tejer a crochet me da una vía de escape, me ayuda a pagar las facturas médicas y a mantener a mi mejor amigo (mi perro, y la verdad, el que más se beneficia de mis ganancias). I taught myself over the last 13 years to crochet and continue to challenge myself new patterns quite often. As life has gone on, it has become difficult with homelessness and chronic illness, from neuro episodes to wheelchair use. Using crochet gives me an outlet for these, pay medical bills, and support my best friend (my dog, and truthfully, the one who is primarily spoiled by crochet earnings).
