I designed my first mini-kit to create a layout to honor my mother and grandmother for Mother's Day 2012.

With that, the design bug had bitten. I started to create papers, alphas and wordart, for my personal use in layouts, to match kits that I had purchased from other designers.

After taking part in my first blogtrain and collaboration I decided to offer some of my designs for sale.


When I started in the digital scrapbooking community I needed a "name", so ColorMeScrappy was born. The name was inspired by one of my great-grandmother's favorite movies.
