Make only what you love
I have made handcrafts since I was a child. I imagined some of these models many years ago, but I could only start crocheting regularly in 2008.
Crochet creates a magical connection between my hands, my mind, my five senses and my whole being.
Maths, art, nature, everyday experiences... All that is a source of inspiration for my creations.
I wrote my first pattern in January 2012. It was a turning point in the story of my shop. It is wonderful to share my creations with so many crocheters.
Each pattern takes many hours, so most of them are still only in my head or a draft. I hope someday I can devote myself entirely to crochet and write patterns.
SYMPHONY OF STITCHES
I always felt to crochet as I feel to music. The single, double, triple and higher stitches are like notes of various lengths and its spaces like rests.
Both crochet and music are a playful succession that is built patiently, stitch by stitch or note by note, and that is perceived as a harmonious whole.
Both have a rhythm and a kind of repetition that relaxes us and a kind of contrast that stimulate us. They flow effortlessly and we get carried away to a level of concentration close to meditation.
