I love Rich's pottery. This was my favorite cup! However, it ended up shattered on my kitchen floor tonight. My heart was broken. I immediately came back and ordered another cup. I know it will be beautiful.
A Lifetime at the Wheel
Rich learned his craft while he was a business major at New Mexico State University in the 70s. In 1983 he opened Robledo Mountain Pottery in the 4000 sf home he constructed from adobe. From there he ran his business for 25 years before relocating to Pennsylvania, and then to Concho, AZ where he is the sole proprietor of Concho Creek Pottery.
Rich is a 35-year potter specializing in wheel-thrown kitchenware. He runs his one-man shop from Concho, AZ and creates every piece of his pottery from start to finish. His functional designs are meant to add beauty to every day living.
