A daughter continues following a mother's lesson
My mom, Connie, taught me to crochet when I was 12 years old. That summer, I made piles and piles of granny squares! Many years later, my mom gave me a blanket of those granny squares that she had crocheted together. That blanket is our only joint project and is now one of my prized possessions. I've since crocheted blankets for some of the most important people in my life. Corny as it may sound, I like to think that I'm passing on some of my mom's love for me in every blanket or scarf that I make.
