How Cookie Grandma's Collectibles Came About...
In 2000 I gained custody of 2 of my grandchildren. Realizing that I would have to quit my regular job at that time, I started selling online in January of that year. After years of selling on different venues, I found Etsy and I'm very happy to be here.
The name "Cookie Grandma" came from my grandson when he was 3 years old. Since he had 2 grandmas living in the same town, he gave each of us names he could remember. The other grandma was his "Church Grandma" because she took him to church when he visited there. When he came to my house I always had a cookie ready for him, so I was "Cookie Grandma". I thought it was so cute I decided to name my shop after it.
I love what I do and I'll do my best to bring you some wonderful vintage, antiques and unique items! ♥

I'm a mother of 5, grandmother of 13, and great grandma of 2. I'm caregiver to my 18-year-old granddaughter. I've been selling online since January, 2000 and enjoy working with people.
Libby loves to model vintage clothing and jewelry for my shop photos. She's also my junkin' buddy and has a good eye for vintage items.
Noodle (my 6-year-old Shih-Tzu) keeps me in a good mood (when he's not sleeping with his head between his paws). He brightens my day and keeps me going.
I research my items and try to describe them as accurately as possible. Customer service is my top priority, so if there's ever a problem, please don't hesitate to contact me. I want to make you a happy, repeat customer!

You do not have to have a PayPal account to pay with PayPal. You can pay with your credit card as a guest.
*International buyers: Please note: The US won't allow me to send or insure some items to certain countries so please contact me before making a purchase.
"IMPORTANT": If you live outside the US please be aware that any VAT, taxes, customs fees or other charges you may incur when your package arrives in your country are your responsibility and are not included in the item price or shipping fee, (even though it says it's included under the item price). Sorry for the confusion. Please do not ask me to mark your item as a gift. I will not falsify customs forms.
For items sent internationally, please understand that I cannot be responsible for items that are held in customs, so be sure the item you wish to buy is allowed to be sent to your country before making the purchase. I insure all items sent internationally so please contact me if your item doesn't arrive or if it arrives damaged.
*NOTE: Items sent internationally may take up to 8 weeks to arrive and tracking isn't always precise once an item leaves the US. Please allow enough time for your item to arrive.
All items are shipped through USPS and packaged with the utmost care!
Refunds and Exchanges
If your item is damaged during transit please contact me 'immediately' so I can file an insurance claim. In some cases the buyer may need to file the claim depending on which insurance provider is used. Keep the item and all packaging until the claim is final because "you will be asked to provide photos of the damage". Please be aware that the claim process may take several weeks.
**IMPORTANT: I will not give a "partial" refund on my Gold or Sterling items. If there is a slight weight difference between your scales and mine, and if you're unhappy about the weight difference please message me through Etsy convos and return the item (in the condition in which it was sold) within 14 days of receipt for a full purchase price refund. Returned packages must be sent with insurance and tracking.
Although I do test all gold and sterling jewelry, I am not a jewelry expert so if any item is not what I believe it to be, I will accept returns within the 14 day time frame.

Depending on your monitor, some items may not show the true colors. I'll do my best to describe the color and if there are any questions please let me know.
I'm willing to hold an item (or put it on reserve for you) for a maximum of 72 hours (3 days). I'm sorry, I can't reserve items that are on sale or items you are buying with a coupon. I am not able to take layaway payments at this time.
My items are cleaned to the best of my ability before I list them. Washable clothing is laundered, jewelry is gently cleaned and glassware or dinnerware is washed, so that your items are clean when you receive them.

Is this item a gift?
I always include an invoice in my packaging. If your item will be given as a gift, please let me know so I can leave the item price off of the invoice.
What forms of payment do you accept?
My shop accepts Direct Checkout, PayPal and Etsy gift cards. You can pay with PayPal even if you don't have a PayPal account, by using your credit card and the guest checkout on the PayPal website.
