Note from shop owner Hi everyone!

I have put the shop on vacation for now instead of closing it. Since Rick's second stroke on April 1, 2013, he has really lost enthusiasm for making them. I am so sad about this, he was really enjoying coming up with new ideas. I would like to thank all of you for your support and purchases and I want you all to know I deeply appreciate you. Hopefully in time Rick will want to get back to work on new chimes, we will see. In the meantime, may you all be blessed with happy times, don't forget to hug and kiss the ones you love, life is so fragile.

Love to you all,
Rick & Linda

Love the beads and the recycled silver ware. The sounds blend nicely with my baritone chimes.

About

Handcrafted Wind Chimes by a talented artist.

On August 31, 2011, Rick suffered a stroke while at work. While the surgeon was removing the clot, they discovered two aneurysms in the front & back of his brain which were repaired on July 10, 2012. After the stroke he began painting (he had never done this) and actually turned out some great paintings. Then he decided to make me a Wind Chime from one of mine that was falling apart because he knew how much I loved it.

From there, he has gone on to making such beautiful, unique chimes with silver plate silverware and gorgeous beads. He still can't drive, so we got him a cool mountain bike (lol..no mountains where we are) so he could tool around to yard sales to find what he calls "toppers" for the chimes. He wanted to use things that were different, vintage, collectible, out of the ordinary. He really does have a vision when it comes to figuring out what will work, what bead colors to use and mix.

I wish I could portray them better in photos, they are quite beautiful and I hate parting with any of them. They have been great therapy for Rick & I support him wholeheartedly.
Love U Babe♥
