Hi, My name is Randy Davis. Around 1976 I saw a guy crudely fashion a stainless steel fork into a bracelet. I thought it was the coolest thing ever at the time.I thought that I could take that Idea and refine it into something a little more symmetrical and detailed using vintage silver plated silverware. I created several designs using the 1 fork designs for the bracelets and people loved them. The drawback was, they were a little bulky and not very well suited for petite sizes. I accidentally got some of them tangled up and had an Ah Haa moment and began using two forks to interlock like a puzzle with the tines to form a bracelet that your arm would hold together. Through further experimentation of ways to interact lock them, I came up with a "Spring Action" design that I could make any size. And were super comfortable to wear because they flex with your wrist. Most people couldn't tell they were made of forks until they were demonstrated. Most Everyone Loved the novelty and design of the bracelet, so I began making enough of them to exhibit at an art festival. I sold out!! About 75 bracelets the first day of a three day festival. I Quit my job driving a milk truck, and Quit college at Oklahoma University as an art major, and moved to California where I could do Art shows year round. And had good success. That evolved me into further growth into wax casting and fabrication. Here I am 40 years later coming full circle making everything from elaborate custom Gold and Diamond wedding sets to High-end custom pieces involving diamond pave,and other precious stones to company logo jewelry and everything in between,and Yeah, Fork Bracelets too. I still do about a dozen art festivals a year, and own a custom jewelry design and repair shop.
