About CoralREEFlections

Sales 873
On Etsy since 2016

Our Ocean are polluted with plastic

You may have seen us around. CoralREEFlections is our second Etsy store. We are also know as Ocean Arts chainsaw carvings.(oceanarts10)
I do wonder if my husbands brain ever stops. Todd will even wake up in the morning after dreaming of new ideas, color patterns, or carvings. some stay in a notebook, some stay in his brain, and others, like the CoralREEFlections reallly take a life of their own.
In between carving birds, fish, bears and other wildlife , Todd sets up shop in the backyard by the kiln he made and gets to work on different color ideas, bowls, jewelry and wall flowers.
Living on the Gulf coast of Florida, we are seeing first hand the problem with all the plastic trash that is littering our oceans and beloved sea life. Instead of Turing a blind eye, Todd got to work thinking and experimenting on how to turn plastic into art.

Part artist, part mad scientist, Todd came up with a way to hand mold and permanently color reclaimed plastic Into beautiful, functional art and jewelry. No two piece are exactly alike. And slight "imperfections" give each piece its unique character.
Thank you for stopping by our shop. Please contact us with any questions.
.
10% of all our sales go to Ocean Conservancy.
