Tutto è iniziato con una ricerca che non ha dato risultati. Ho passato giorni a setacciare internet alla ricerca del collare perfetto: qualcosa che potessi indossare comodamente 24 ore su 24, 7 giorni su 7, che fosse elegante e discreto. Non ho trovato nulla che corrispondesse all'immagine che avevo in mente, così ho deciso di realizzarlo da sola.
Ecco come è nato il Cord Collar.
Un cordino intrecciato in cuoio o gomma, un semplice lucchetto e una vestibilità così comoda da farti dimenticare di averlo addosso, finché un piccolo strattone non te lo ricorda.
Ne ho fatte alcune per degli amici. Le hanno adorate. Così io e Dave abbiamo iniziato a farle per tutti.
Dieci anni dopo, CordLockDesigns è cresciuta fino a diventare una collezione completa: collari in pelle e gomma, modelli a tema Pride, bracciali, cavigliere, spille smaltate e la nostra nuovissima linea di abbigliamento LOCKED. Ogni pezzo è ancora realizzato a mano con la stessa cura del primo collare.
Non produciamo in serie. Non scendiamo a compromessi sulla qualità. Ogni ordine viene realizzato a mano, secondo le vostre specifiche e con amore, perché è così che è iniziato tutto e questo è l'unico modo che conosciamo.

It started with a search that came up empty. I spent days scouring the internet for the perfect collar — something I could wear comfortably 24/7, that looked stylish and stayed discreet. I found nothing that matched the picture in my head, so I decided to make it myself.
That's how the Cord Collar was born.
Braided leather or rubber cord, a simple padlock, and a fit so comfortable you forget you're wearing it — until that little tug reminds you that you are.
I made a few for friends. They loved them. So Dave and I started making them for everyone.
Ten years later, CordLockDesigns has grown into a full collection: leather and rubber collars, pride styles, bracelets, anklets, enamel pins, and our newest line of LOCKED apparel. Every piece is still handcrafted with the same care as that very first collar.
