I got this for my son for his birthday. He loves sea turtles, and was really happy to get this! It is beautiful. Love it!

Corina, Very nice work. It captures the very special mischievous spirit of the West Highlands Terrier. As you can tell, Sparkles agrees.
Contemporary and Colorful Wildlife and Pet Portrait Art
Crayons, Play-Doh, Paint By Numbers, they were all critical to the early artistic development of Corina St. Martin. Having the freedom to play and explore is something that every child needs, it inspires imagination which is imperative to so many aspects of our daily lives whether we realize it or not.
From early influences of a myriad of children’s books, Disney movies, The Muppet Show, trips to Shedd’s Aquarium, the Museum of Science and Industry, The Brookfield Zoo, and all things above and below the ocean, Corina’s artwork is a melting pot of inspiration. A healthy dose of wonder, love of animals, fantasy and lots of color have all found their way into her work.
“My main goal as an artist is to bring joy to the viewer and to inspire their own love of animals. Hopefully that transcends into personal acts of conservation and kindness to animals that they come into contact with. I also hope to inspire and encourage kids to be brave and speak up for those without a voice. I believe it’s important to help where you can.”
When asked about her favorite animals to paint she’ll say “All of them!” but one of her truly favorite animals to bring to full color is our beloved canine friends.
Artistic inspirations include Van Gogh, M.C. Escher, Rupert Vogl, Georgia O’Keefe, Franz Marc, Malcolm Liepke, John Waterhouse, N. C. Wyeth, Greg Manchess, Michael Parkes and many others.
