Announcement   Each piece of Cornish Hill Pottery is hand thrown and decorated by me, Gogi Millner. I have been making pottery for over 40 years!

With the exception of custom orders, everything listed on ETSY is in stock and ready to ship, usually within 1-3 business days.

If you would like to pick up your pottery, please call or email for a listing without shipping fees.

I can personalize most things, including medium size bowls, for an additional fee. Medium bowl personalized along the upper border would be +$25. (Larger bowls are +$45). I can make a listing for you on ETSy, or you can email me directly: gogi919 [!at] hotmail.com or call: 603-569-5626.

Cornish Hill Pottery is located in the village of Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, on the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee. I have been in business since 1976!

I make hand crafted functional stoneware, decorated in a contemporary folk tradition of Early American and European potters with a method known as 'slip trailing'. The slip is a creamy mixture of clay and water which is applied to moist or 'leather hard' pots by brush and by extrusion through a fine nozzle on a hand held squeeze bottle. The slips contain various colorants, including natural clay colors and metals such as cobalt.

The pots are bisque fired to remove the chemically combined water and to oxidize organic impurities. Then the pots are glazed and glaze trail decorated. Next follows a firing to approximately 2100 °F in which the glaze is melted to a glass and the clay body becomes vitrified.

The pottery is oven, microwave, and dishwasher safe. As with any ceramic piece, take care to avoid extreme and abrupt temperature changes. I use no lead or other harmful glaze materials.

Shipping: Shipping prices are expanding to include everywhere. If there is not a stated shipping price to your country, please ask!
I will ship internationally by request. Items shipped internationally will be shipped at cost. I will make every effort to communicate with you regarding these costs prior to shipping. I will need to create a listing reflecting these costs for you.

All items will be shipped within a week of purchase, usually the next business day.

We are thrilled with the Baby set you crafted for us - It’s perfect - I love the scale, and of course your signature design. We gave them to our daughter and son in law and their new son - they were touched....as we had given them one of your custom wedding plates several years ago which they cherish. Their biggest concern was "what if we break it" - and they were relieved a bit when we mentioned that they are microwave and dishwasher safe! and ... what better way to have something pass along than by using things they really enjoy - rather than just dusting them. They smiled. I think the plate is now safe next to their wedding plate and the bowl and cup are in the kitchen cabinets ready for use. They arrived in perfect condition - and with a couple of "extras" - you are a treasure.

Shipping
I have begun to calculate shipping internationally on some of my items. Mostly the personalized plates and the large bowls. I will ship other items internationally by request. Items shipped internationally will be shipped at cost. I will make every effort to communicate with you regarding these costs prior to shipping. I will need to create a listing reflecting these costs for you.
International shipping is done via USPS. So If the postal service limits weight or size to your country, I may not be able to do this.

All items will be shipped within a week of purchase, usually the next business day.

I usually ship USPS . Larger parcels go UPS and all will be insured.
