Never arrived. And Cornucopia never returned any of my messages.

The product was exactly as described, however the shipping time was far longer than expected (2 months) and my attempt to contact the seller went unanswered. Still, it was a happy surprise when I found it in my mailbox this week.

Welcome to The Cloth Cavern, we are a UK based fabric shop which also stocks sewing supplies including patterns, needles and pins, measuring tapes and rulers, hemming webs, interfacing, nets, ribbons and much more. We also have small sections dealing with jewellery making, knitting, card making.

Payment Methods

UK customers can pay by Paypal, Postal Order or Cheque.
European customers by Paypal, or bank transfer
US and others by Paypal only.

Payment should be made within 3 days of purchase although we do allow longer for postal payments. Postal Orders are treated as cash payments unless crossed in which case they will be treated as cheques, cheque payments must allow 7 working days for clearance.

If for any reason you wish to cancel an order before dispatch, we require written confirmation by e-mail or letter. If you wish to return an item for any reason, we require written confirmation by e-mail or letter within 7 working days of receipt of the item. To return an item, please send to:

This address will be included within the package and as a label on the reverse. The customer is responsible for return costs unless the item is faulty in which case return costs will be refunded.
Shipping
We ship by varying methods depending on size and complexity of the item. The methods generally used for the UK are

1st Class - 1-3 days delivery from date of dispatch
1st Class Recorded Delivery - As above, signed for
Special Delivery - Next Day from date of dispatch, signed for, tracked.
Courier - Next Day from dispatch, signed for, tracked

Upgrades can be offered at extra cost.

For overseas customers, we use:

Airmail - Standard Delivery, no tracking or signature, 5-7 working days
Airsure - Standard Delivery, tracked, no signature 3-5 working days
International Signed For - Tracked, signed for, 5-7 worked days

Standard insurance is included in all postal prices.

We are not responsible for international customs charges in individual countries, we will not mark as "gift" as this is illegal.
Refunds and Exchanges
Refunds will be made in full on return of item, or on receipt of written confirmation of cancellation

Exchanges can only be made on receipt of a written request by e-mail or letter followed by the return of the original item.

In the event of postal loss, we will offer replacement or refund if tracking details confirm no delivery has been made.
