These are just so gorgeous! Perfect fit and exactly as described. Seller was very helpful and postage was quick. I only wish I had the top part to match!

About

Nasty Ginny is the other member of our family.

My business started through the desire to start working with two loves of mine: corsets and vintage fabrics. My new boyfriend, now my husband, had introduced me to wearing corsets and my collection of corsets was growning. But I was disappointed with the quality of the finish and boning used in many cases and with the 'same-ness' of the designs in other cases. It was my love of vintage fabrics that lead me to design the first collection of corsets based around 'Girl's Own' booksfrom the 40s and 50s. I still love that theme!

How about the name, do I hear you say? Nasty Ginny has long been with me... I grew up with three real sisters and one extra sister who we created especially to take the blame for all those mysterious chocolate-biscuit-disappearances, broken-cup/glasses/window situations and even the disappearing-change-from-Dad's-wallet occurrences (sorry Dad!). This extra sister we named Nasty Ginny and she was positively wicked. She was also wonderfully willing to accept all blame. So if something goes awry, guess who I'll be blaming?

So that's it. Corsets by Nasty Ginny explained. For now.

I trained as a fashion designer in the 80s and have worked largely in the industry ever since, including in the UK and in Australia. I have had my own business designing and making couture wedding gowns for over ten years in Hobart. Now I am enjoying a quiet country existence making corsets and teaching fashion, design and textiles at our local college.
