These pins were purchased to use on my skates & they are PERFECT. Laura is an absolute dream to work with, she answered every question & even provided pictures when asked about the size of the pins. Beautiful art from a beautiful mind.
The CosmicMedium shop was born in the winter of 2012 with a bunch of sketchbook sketches and a camera. After two seasons showing on in local art shows in Maryland and Washington, D.C. and piles of sketch books later, my art has evolved into a full collection of beautiful portraits for the fashionable and artistic collector.
Always a lover of the fine arts and creativity, I earned my minor in Fine Arts, Science, Biology and Chemistry from the Bowie State University and Johns Hopkins University. After graduating I began designing one-of-a-kind pieces for members of my community, family and friends. After college and a wedding later, I've hopped back into fine art and have launched my collection of fine art collections of portraits and angels.
Each piece was thought up, and painted by me from my home studio in Washington, D.C. I choose paints and embellishments that feel as whimsical and light hearted as they look to create a piece that can go the distance for you on your home. Care is taken to make sure each piece is finished beautifully and every line detail is in place. I design the art pieces I love, and I hope you love them, too.

Shop policies
I know purchasing a art piece can be mysterious no matter where you shop, but especially over the internet. Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions you have. I'm happy to give you as much information as you need, whether it's helping you choose the right size, color or style, getting you color swatches, deciding on composition etc. Your email will be answered quickly and by me (the artist!). Happy shopping!

Returns and exchanges

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
- Custom or personalized orders
- Perishable products (like food or flowers)
- Digital downloads
- Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)

Returns and exchange details
If there is an issue with your order please message the shop owner and I will respond within 24 hours. All issues are handled on a case by case basis. Please have a photo of your product available to send to me to help me make a resolution. Thank you for supporting my shop!
Payment
Full payment is due at the time of purchase unless you have made prior arrangements with me (please contact me for options). I will begin working on your made-to-order art when at least a 50% deposit has been received.
Shipping
All items purchased from CosmicMedium are shipped via USPS Priority with tracking, insurance, and delivery confirmation. Orders are shipped within 1-3 days of receiving payment.
***Shipping Address
I ship to the address on your Etsy account unless you pay via PayPal, in which case I will ship to your PayPal address as per PayPal's terms of use. Please make sure the address on both your Etsy account and/or PayPal account is accurate. I can not be held responsible for orders shipped to a wrong address when incorrect information is provided.
***Custom Orders
As most art pieces are made to order, I have listed the estimated shipping times within each listing.
***Rush Orders
In this event that you need rush shipping please contact me via convo for a quote and customized listing. Rush orders may be available for an additional fee depending on my schedule.
***International Orders
For international orders please allow 3-4 weeks for your package to arrive. At this time the US postal service does not provide tracking for international orders. I will not mark "gift" on a customs form, so please do not ask. Any duties and fees are the responsibility of the customer.
***Taxes Fees
The customer is responsible for any import taxes, duties, and customs fees on international shipments.
***Packaging
Archival art prints are signed and protected in a poly sleeve. My artwork is packaged with the utmost care to ensure it arrives to you in perfect condition.
Additional policies and FAQs
Customizations (changes to colors, composition, style, etc) may be possible depending on the medium; please see the information in the listing or contact me via convo for more information.
Full Custom Design:
**Currently accepting a limited number of custom painting orders for 2015**
Full custom design may be available as my schedule allows. Custom designed art work begins at $300 and can take up to 6 months to complete. Please contact me via convo or at cosmicmedium [!at] gmail.com for complete details and quotes.
Mediums:
I prefer to paint in acrylic, ink and/or watercolor. Oil paintings are not preferred since they take 3X more time to dry.
