Frequently asked questions
If my package hasn´t arrived and the address is incorrect, will I receive a full refund?
If you have provided a wrong address and you haven´t amend it before we send your order, we are not responsible for the loss of any orders due to wrong postal addresses registered. Please, check all your address details before placing an order. That helps us to meet your needs.
What kind of shipping do you use?
Orders are sent by Tracked Mail. Switzerland is the only exception in Europe where we send via Ordinary Mail (no tracking available). Orders that do not cover tracked shipping are sent via Normal Service (no tracking available). That can happen to the parcels sent to the USA
Lost Parcels / Undelivered Parcels
Costura Secret Shop is not responsible for any lost parcel or undelivered parcel. Therefore, shipping costs will not be refunded in the event of any lost parcel or undelivered parcel. Please note that by placing your order, you agreed to our shop policies. Thank you.
Return Parcels / Letters because buyer provided wrong address
If your parcel is returned to us because of delivery issues (wrong address) we will send you a convo to let you know we have received it. We will ask for a corrected/updated address and include a receipt for you to pay for additional shipping. If we don't hear from you within 7 days we will cancel the order and refund the cost of the items purchased. We are not responsible for returning the original postage, as we paid the postage to have it sent out to the address you provided.
If your parcel is returned to us because you Refused it or you did not pick it up after being stored for a certain time at your local post office, we will refund you just the amount you paid for the items of your order. Shipping costs will not be refunded.
Free Shipping Special Offers
If the shop offers free shipping on certain items, from time to time, the free shipping will affect just the items with the offer. If you add more items to the order that don't apply to the free shipping, those items will pay for shipping exclusively according to their weight.
Return Parcels that had Free Shipping
In case of any free shipping offer, if the parcel doesn't get to you the first time due to wrong address provided or because you do not pick it up after receiving a notification from your post office, we will resend it a second time but you will have to pay shipping costs for this second shipping.
COVID19 UPDATES AND DELAYS! Important information!
If you are ordering from outside Spain, please read this info!
Based on our experience during the last months of COVID19 pandemic, if your order is not getting quicker as you would like to, this is what you can expect:
**Post to the UK and Europe is taking around 1-4 weeks to arrive. There are some countries within the EU that deliver their parcels as before the pandemic. But that depends on the country and the Mail service.
**Post to the USA and Canada is taking 4-12 weeks to arrive.
**Post to Australia and New Zealand is taking between 4 to 12 weeks to arrive.
Imposibilidad de entrega del pedido (España, Baleares y Canarias)
Los pedidos enviados a Península, Baleares y Canarias incluyen notificación por email y móvil (si nos ha dejado su nº de teléfono) del envío efectuado. Asimismo, Correos realiza dos intentos de entrega en el domicilio del cliente y deja avisos de entrega. El envío que no se ha recepcionado en domicilio, por estar el cliente ausente, permanece 15 días en Correos para su recogida.
Transcurridos 15 días desde que su pedido este disponible para su entrega y no se haya recogido, se entenderá que Vd., desea desistir del contrato y se considerará resuelto.
Cuando lo recibamos de vuelta en nuestro taller, le devolveremos el precio de los artículos, pero no los gastos de entrega abonados por Vd.
Shipping costs to certain areas (Madeira, Gibraltar)
Etsy does not offer the option to choose areas such as Madeira and Gibraltar for custom shipping costs. Madeira, although it belongs to Portugal, have more expensive shipping costs than Portugal due to its location. That also happens with Gibraltar. Therefore, as the shop can not reflect actual shipping costs, if we receive an order for any of these countries and shipping paid is lower than actual shipping, we will send you an email asking to pay the remaining amount in order to send your order. If you refuse to pay it, we will then cancel the order and you will receive a full refund for the order. If you wish to receive your order, you will receive an order of payment and once it is paid, we will proceed to send your order with tracking.
