Hi! I’m Laura, owner of Cottage Witchcraft Creations, based in the Pacific Northwest.
My art aesthetic is cottagecore - think ivy covered stone walls, herbs hanging from the ceiling, farm house windows with bowers of flowers, and a bookcase filled with antique books and plants. These are all things that bring me joy.
Cottage witchcraft is taking the mundane and infusing it with joy and magick. Our mood is affected by our environment, so when you look around your house, do you feel stressed and anxious or feel peaceful and joyful? Whether it’s art, plants, rocks, statues, color-schemes, scents, etc. - we have the power to fill our homes with the things that revitalize and energize us. Filling the house with positive, intentional energy is the heart of being a cottage witch. I believe we create our own magick.
I create what I love and want to have in my own house- right now it’s beeswax teacup candles, airplant driftwood decor, and antique spoon rings. I’ve always wanted to make crafts and be a vendor at a Renn Faire. I want to make affordable art - something that past me would have been able to buy as a poor college student, back when $30 was a luxury to spend. I want to make it easy for others to bring magick into their home.
