CottonBerryQuilts' Shop Policies
Welcome to Cotton Berry Quilts! We hope you find our store enjoyable and accommodating to you. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask and we will get back to you as soon as we can.
All payments can be made through Credit Card, Debit Card, or PayPal.
- Credit Card, Debit Card, and PayPal Account orders can be made through PayPal. Even if you do not have a PayPal account, PayPal will process your Credit Card and Debit Card orders at no extra cost to you.
We do not accept personal checks or money orders for payment unless special arrangements are made with Cotton Berry Quilts. If you wish to pay with a money order or personal check, please contact us for before making your purchase so we can make special arrangements for your circumstance.
Any items put on a payment schedule (Layaway) are non- refundable. Failure to make payments on the dates agreed on, will result in the cancellation of the purchase and all monies paid will not be refunded.
All orders will be sent via USPS or UPS
Purchases will be sent out within 5 days after transaction. Most times, orders are sent out the day after purchase.
U.S.shipping rates can be found on the description page of the each listed product.
INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS: As may you notice, international shipping rates are not listed for the following reasons:
1. Each country has its own rates. Please contact me with the item you desire to purchase and the country/province...you wished to have the product sent to and I would be more than happy to give you a quote specific to your country.
2. Packages cannot be tracked or insured outside the U.S. unless shipped through carriers that provide these services. Many times, these alternative shipping companies' rates are very high. However, if this is not a concern for the customer, Cotton Berry Quilts is more than happy to ship via these avenues with the customer's approval. Arrangements for alternate shipping carriers other than USPS need to be requested by the customer and confirmed by Cotton Berry Quilts. In this case, all additional shipping rates and insurance is the responsibility of the buyer. If a customer agrees to have items shipped via USPS without tracking and insurance, Cotton Berry Quilts will not be held responsible for any lost or stolen packages.
Refunds and Exchanges
Handmade quilts, pillow covers fabric precuts and fabric by the yard cannot be returned. However, all other items may be returned as long as they are returned in the same condition in which they were sent. Customer must pay shipping if desiring to return an item. Refund will be given upon reception of item. All returns must be made within 15 days after item is received by customer.
Additional Policies and FAQs
All custom orders require a 50% non-refundable deposit before the start of any project. Payment for the remaining amount plus shipping charges are due upon completion of the order unless arrangements have been made with Cotton Berry Quilts.
Based on our past experience with non-paying customers, the following policy needed to be implemented:
The customer will be notified when their custom order is complete and ready for payment. If payment has not been received 15 days after notification of completion without any communication from the customer, Cotton Berry Quilts will place this item to be sold in the shop and the customer's 50% deposit will not be returned.
