About the materials!

Polymer clay ~~~
is durable (depending on the brand and the thickness) and is pretty much worry free.
Care should still be taken (especially with pieces having tiny details).
Take care from dropping or crushing your jewelry.
It is not a problem if polymer clay accidentally gets wet, but let your piece dry thoroughly before storing.

Copper ~~~
will oxidize and patina over time. It is possible to get it back to the original state by different methods you can find on the internet.

I prefer copper oxidized because it's such a nice rustic and warm color.

Some of the copper jumprings may be soldered (with silver) for added chain to jumpring security.

If you do not like your copper oxidized you can clean it with any silver cloth, cleaner or with other methods you can find on the internet.
Be careful not to get the cleaner on the other materials!

Felted pieces ~~~
Felt is really felted wool. I like to use Merino wool because it is so soft!
To care for the felted pieces (necklaces and wraps), hang the jewelry when you are not wearing it.
The felted necklaces can take on the shape of how it has been worn or stored.

If it assumes a bend or twist that you do not like, simply wet the whole piece in water. Gently squeeze out the excess water. Reshape it to your preference. Let it dry completely and it will be just right!

For the wraps I like to hang them how it would be worn on the neck or hang it from one end while letting the rest fall straight down.

Leather ~~~
The painted leather jewelry is given a proper base, painted, and then sealed with a gloss varnish (only on the painted side). The back side is left as a soft suede unless otherwise specified.

It is best to keep the leather from getting submerged in water. Keep water away from it if possible, but if you are caught in a rain storm, no need to worry! Wipe it off or blot it dry with a towel.

Illustration Necklaces~~~
The painted illustration necklaces are given a proper base, painted and then sealed with a gloss varnish.

They are basically care free. Although taking care not to drop or scratch the painting is best for longevity.
If water gets on the jewelry, it is not a problem. Just wipe it off. I don't recommend submerging it in water.
