Live, Love and Sew
At 12 years old, I made the first outfit for myself and my Mother, being the supportive parent she was, allowed me to wear it to church. It was pretty primitive but she always told me I could do anything I set my mind to, so off I went in my floral skirt and top trimmed in wide yellow rickrack! A very bold statement, I thought.
Ever since that day, I have been addicted to sewing and fabric. In 2006, I started a custom children's clothing company. With my families encouragement and help, it grew to be a successful brand and a life consuming task. It also generated bolts and bolts of fabric overruns and surpluses!
So many of my customers told me that they could sew, but could not find quality, attractive fabric anywhere but speciality sewing shops, where the prices were so high that it made sewing an expensive proposition. They were eager to make things themselves, but decided that running all over town to find the right fabric at the right price just wasn't an option.
After hearing that they were always looking for great fabric, and seeing my space shrinking because I had so much fabric, I decided to open Cotton Street Fabrics. My goal is to supply you with the quality fabrics you seek at a price that you need, no matter what your location.
So don't waste your hard earned money on gas or your time being aggravated in traffic, shop our store and let me ship your selections to your doorstep a few days later. And if you need help matching up several fabrics for an outfit or a quilt, don't hesitate to contact me for advise. It is one of my favorite things to do and something I do that everyday in my clothing business.
All of our fabrics are cut from the bolt in a smoke and pet free environment. The quality is always guaranteed and returns are always accepted for defects.

I learned to sew watching my grandmother make custom drapes and slip covers when I was a child. Since then I have always had a serious fabric fetish. Now I have a way to feed my habit and furnish great fabric for you.

3 to 7 yards will be within the US shipped by USPS Priority Flat Rate Envelope $5.90 if possible. Some fabrics are too bulky for this method.

5 to 7 yards shipped internationally will be shipped by International Flat Rate envelope which will range from 24.75.
TO SAVE ON POSTAGE, ESPECIALLY FOR INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS:
Shipping fabric overseas is a complex thing. How much does it weight? How thick is the envelope? Does have to go in a box? What country is i going to???? YIKES!!! So let me save you money on shipping by sending me a convo for a reserved listing if you want to order more than 2 yards. I will be happy to find the least expensive way to get your package to you. Some fabrics , like corduroys, will require a box, so for a cut larger than 4 yards, convo me for shipping charge. Some countries require your phone number on the customs form.
Since INTERNATIONAL MAIL RATES HAVE ALMOST DOUBLED. PLEASE feel free to convo me for an exact shipping price on amounts over 2 yards. Be sure to enclose your zip code or country. We will make every effort to get your fabric to you in the least expensive way possible. Our goal is not to overcharge on postage if given the chance. Your shipping cost per yard will be cut in half by ordering at least 5 yards at a time. The first couple of yards are the most expensive to ship.
Packages are sent without insurance, so if you would like to add that option, let me know in your convo.
PLEASE BE SURE YOUR SHIPPING ADDRESS IS CORRECT AT CHECKOUT. I want to give you the best customer service possible, but I can't do that if I don't have your correct mailing address. I will not be responsible for packages you do not receive if they are shipped to the address which is given to me on the order. If the package comes back to me, I will set up a Reserved listing for the second shipping charges and I will resend your package when they are paid. No refunds will be issued nor fabric replaced if I don't receive them back by return mail, which can take up to a month. If you would like to add insurance or tracking, please convo me before purchasing.
I will not be responsible for delays or extra costs incurred by Customs on international shipments.
Rarely are packages lost or stolen. I am not responsible once the fabric is shipped if you haven't chosen to insure it. Non- delivered packages will not be reshipped or refunded.
Refunds and Exchanges
Sale Items are not refundable or returnable, unless you notify me that they have fabric or construction defects first.
Additional policies and FAQs
Whole bolt orders are welcomed, but are subject to availability. Whole bolts will be sent by UPS if you wish the fabric to remain on the bolt.
Be sure you check your email after you place your order. Occasionally, I need to contact you before I ship, especially if my mailing system cannot verify your address. Or, if after unbolting multiple yards, I find that I don't have as much fabric as my inventory showed. If I can't reach you, I can't mail your package in these situations. I will usually notify you of a problem within 24 hours of your order. You will receive another email when you package ships.
