Couldn't be more thrilled. This is not just a painting, it is its own universe. It has a presence, it has an energy. There are textures, layers, infinite pathways into otherworldly extremes. Tactile, I want to touch it. Beauty, I want to live in it. So interesting. I love Counsel Langley's work. I will buy more soon.

Thank you so much for buying handmade! Independent artisans, crafters and artists (visual, musicians, performers, literary, culinary . . . . ) thrive when their work is valued and finds its place out in the world. When you buy an album, see a show, purchase jewels, art, housewares, clothing, the options go on and on . . . from these folks you are supporting a passionate individual, their families and general beauty in this world.

There's another little aspect to this you may not realize, but you are also supporting the wide range of great non-profits and educational opportunities because, as a group, we makers of stuff receive many requests year-round to donate work and time to the benefit their fundraising efforts--we respond generously with gifts of what make and by volunteering time and expertise to provide educational experiences.

In short, you rock.
