Announcement   Country Anthropology started in 2007 as an eclectic retail store located in the beautiful Hudson Valley area of NY selling antiques, furnishings and modern home decor. After a great 7 year run I decided to close my retail location to sell exclusively online.

As they say, once and antique junkie always an antique junkie, buying and selling is in my blood. The thrill of the hunt and the process of researching and photographing unusual treasures continues to fuel my passions as a crazy antique dealer.

I continue to live here in the beautiful Hudson River Valley where I search every barn, attic, auctions and markets to find one of a kind, rare and folk art items.

I accept most forms of payment except children and puppies!

If you do plan to pay with a money order or a check, contact me first before buying the listing so I know when to expect the payment to be made.

Please do not use the "other" payment method field to avoid completing the transaction by paying. Contact me first If you wish to pay at a later date, or make timed payments, I will then reserve the listing for you.

I reserve the right to cancel all transactions that are not paid for up front without an agreement made beforehand of payments being made at a later date.

I regret that I had to instate the above policy due to some customers using the money order option and then never sending payment.

Shipping
Shipping,

I try to ship everything out on Monday and Thursdays of every week.

Take note that I ship to the address listed under your Paypal account for seller protection. If the address you would like the package to is different then what is listed on your Paypal account, please contact me first at wiltsiebridge [!at] aol.com

Shipping is a stated in my listings. If you would prefer a different shipping method, please let me know at checkout and send me an e-mail.

I use Fed Ex, USPS, and UPS.

If you need the speed of shipment bumped up, please let me know!
Package details:
I strive to pack all orders as securely as possible with recycled materials. I re-enforce large boxes with torn cardboard and use old newspapers to fill in voids. If you would like new packing material used instead please contact me for additional charges. I strive to keep my shipping prices as low as possible and I feel that recycled material is a happier product for the environment.

If your item arrives damaged:

I try to pack all items as securely as possible. Sometimes damage does occur in the mail. I now add insurance to all packages should damage occur. Please contact me if your item arrives damaged within 24 hrs of receiving package to make a claim. Do not throw the box and packing material your item arrived with away. If you do throw these items away I may not be able to collect the insurance and issue a refund.
Refunds and Exchanges
Return Policy:

I regret that I am unable to accept returns unless the item was misrepresented to a high degree or damaged in the mail. If the item has to be returned then I will issue 50% back of the original price. I do not refund shipping sorry.

Please read the item listing carefully and examine the provided photos. I aim to give as accurate as possible descriptions and photos. If you are unsure about a product or have additional questions/ or need more photos then do not hesitate to contact me.

I try to pack all items as securely as possible. Sometimes damage does occur in the mail. Your purchase is protected through insurance and covered for damage. I do add signature confirmation to all orders. If you are unwilling to sign then I will not be able to ship your package out and I will have to cancel the sale. I apologize for the inconvenience this policy may cause.

We insure all fragile items so if a item arrives damaged, please contact us within three days of receiving shipment to file a claim.

Furniture purchases:
As we spend a great deal of labor, time and transit to ship furniture, are unable to issue refunds on furniture purchases, all furniture sold in "as is" condition, all sales are final.

We insure all furniture orders against damage should your item arrive damaged.

We ship "most" large furniture items via Greyhound transit services. Buyer will need to check that they have a Greyhound nearby as they will have to pick the shipment up from Greyhound in person.
