It is hand crafted and it is a work of art. It is extremely well made and I absolutely love, love it. It fits perfectly in my bathroom with my outhouse motif.

My custom order was perfect, packaged and shipped on time. I use the big roll paper and had to turn them side ways but that is Okay because this is going into a third bathroom and I love it. Have been looking for a holder where you don't see a roll of paper. I asked to receive it not stained so that I can match my wood. Thank you Givens family. AWESOME

About

Growing into a business!

We have always enjoyed making gifts for family members. Our nieces and nephews encouraged us to share our talents. Reaching retirement age gave us more time to devote to our new adventure, so with the help of our kids, we decided to start Country Hands Woodworking. Our dream is that one day, the kids will be able to take over fully when we're actually ready to rest.

Harold, or more fondly known as Dad, started woodworking when he was in school and has continued to perfect his craft. He's the leader of the family and has taught us everything we know about woodworking, including how to enjoy our time together in the woodshop. He often jokes that he has created monsters by teaching us how to use the tools and our imagination. Now we often challenge him to turn our ideas into the projects we've imagined. He is our "finisher" in more ways than one!

Mercille, Mom, used to be the cleaning crew and doubled as a human vice for Dad to glue, nail or screw our projects together. She now uses most of the tools on her own and Dad helps out with the sweeping! As usual, Mom keeps things moving. She does everything from bookkeeping to pattern design and web development to quality control!

Tammy, know around here as Sis, is part of the creative team. She and Mom are the "face" of the business for crafts shows and public appearances. She also helps in the shop and is learning to use many of the tools as well.

Cliff, our son, is the most artistic of the bunch. He's the brawn around the shop, prefers to create his own designs vs. patterns, and he pushes us to keep up with his imagination. He has the highest standard of quality and sets the bar for quality control.

Together, we build quality products that we are proud of. Our hope is they will stand the test of time and maybe some of them will become heirlooms like they are in our family!

We all enjoy working on wood projects. We started making gifts for family members and things have grown from there. We each have our own specialties, but all of us have a part in making each of our items. This is truly a family business.

Welcome to Country Hands Woodworking! We are a family business - dad, mom, daughter, and son. We have worked with wood for many years but have been encouraged by family and friends to start selling some of our crafts. We strive to make products that will last, hopefully some will become family heirlooms. We welcome any feedback you would like to give. Enjoy!

Because we create each piece in our shop by hand, there may be slight differences in color, shape, and size from the picture shown.
