I enjoy making things. For as long as I can remember, crafting and creating, collecting and recycling, have been a source of joy and relaxation for me. Whether the materials are new or recycled, scraps or full measurements, mass produced or natural resources, my mind will usually see the potential for a new creation in the midst of random things.

Growing up on a farm in rural Georgia gave me the opportunity to learn many skills, one of which is the creative possibilities from both man made supplies and those that lie in nature. God has given us so many beautiful, natural resources in the world around us. To go on a nature walk, for the crafter at heart, is essentially to go on a shopping spree! Also, the skill, wisdom, and value of "waste not, want not". This was taught to me by my parents who grew up during the time when our country was coming out of the great depression of 1929, and survived the terrible time of World War II. I appreciate, and treasure, the skills and values taught to me by honest, hard-working parents. I have been blessed, and I thank God for this blessing.

I am a florist by trade. My husband and I currently own and operate Crawford, Georgia's oldest, and only florist, Buds 'n Bows Flower Shop ~~ http://www.budsnbowsflowershop.com/ . This allows us the opportunity to create unique designs with the beautiful medium of fresh cut flowers, naturals, silks, ribbons, and much more. This also provides a wonderful outlet to feed that recycle bug that lives in me~~LOL~~by getting creative with the remnants leftover from larger designs! I am a wife, mother, and grandmother. I am a daughter, sister, and friend. I am a sister-in-law, daughter-in-law, and mother-in-law. I am a florist, a recycler, a crafter, and an artist. But first and foremost, I am a Christian, above all else. Anything, and everything, that I am able to have or to do, is because the Lord has blessed me with that ability. I give all praise, honor, and glory to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, for without Him, I am nothing.

Blessed to have been born and raised a country farm girl, I've never outgrown my love for country life. Blessed with a loving husband and a beautiful family who help me with my ventures, and support me with their love, I am uplifted in this life. Blessed with the knowledge of God's Amazing Grace which saved my soul through the shed blood of His Son, Jesus Christ, I am humbled, thankful, and secure in life eternal with my Lord.

I continue to enjoy crafting, recycling, salvaging, re-vamping, finding, and creating all sorts of treasures in all sorts of places, and pray to be able to do so for a very long time.
