Our Story & Mission

In 2004 I started making candles just for fun. I knew I wanted a clean burning candle that didn't agitate my asthma, allergies or affect my family. I also wanted to help others who were going through difficult times. Fast forward to May 2019 and after much prayer, Courageous Faith Candles opened on our website. By combining my love for God, Scriptures and Mason jars similar to the ones my Grandma used for canning, our candles were created.

Our Mission:
Here at Courageous Faith Candles we believe in helping others and lighting the way to Hope for others. Each month we donate 10% to Operation Underground Railroad to help fight human trafficking. It is our mission to not only bring Hope to others who receive our candles but to those who are lost without Hope.

Frequently asked questions
Processing and Shipping Times

Our candles are normally shipped in 1-3 business days. Please see listing for current times. This does not include weekends or holidays. Please verify address is correct. Orders that can not be verified will not ship out until we hear from you. Once your order has shipped you will receive an email with a tracking number. You should receive your package in 2-4 business days. We are not responsible for delays that USPS may experience.

Please purchase candles separately if they will be going to different addresses.

Customer is responsible for additional postage for us to resend package, if it is returned.

We do not ship outside of the USA at this time. 

Refund and Exchange Policy

We know ordering scents online can be challenging.  

If there is a problem with your order please contact us within 3 days of delivery. We do not issue refunds due to late, lost or stolen packages, candles that have frosted or have wet spots.(Please see below about Frosting and wet spots.)

Once you have contacted us first, please ship the unused candle back within 7 days of delivery. Item must be returned in original condition. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the customer is responsible for any loss in value. Customer is responsible for shipping costs to return or if exchanging.
All refunds or exchanges will be issued after receipt of an authorized return.

Broken Candles

We package all of our candles with care and have been fortunate to have very few broken during shipment.

If your candle does come broken please take a picture of your broken candle inside the box with packaging and a picture of the shipping label on the outside of the box, so we can file a claim with USPS. Send us your pictures along with which of your candles were damaged and we will send a replacement out to you within 1-3 business days .

Frosting and Wet Spots

Our candles are made using all natural soy wax, we do not put any unnecessary additives into our candles. You may experience a white ring around your candle called frosting. Frosting is a normal trait of soy candles and does not affect your candle scent or how it burns in any way.

Wet Spots may also appear on your candle during the colder months during shipping.

We do not issue refunds for candles that have frosting or develop wet spots as these do not affect your candle in any way.

Lost or Stolen Packages

In the rare occurrence that your order shows delivered and you have not received it, please contact USPS or us and we will do what we can to locate your package. Please understand though that we cannot be held liable for their mistakes and therefore are not responsible for lost or stolen packages.

Scent of the Month Candles

Each month we feature a scent at a 15% discount. Price is reflected in the listing and only applies to that listing. If you purchase a scent that is our scent of the month from a different listing we will send you a coupon code for 15% off with your package that can be used for a future purchase. (Excludes scent of the month candles that are already discounted.) We do not refund 15% when candle is purchased from a different listing.

Sample Candles

Every order comes with a free 2oz candle for you to sample that you can choose the scent. If you do not choose a scent we will choose a scent for you. We do our best to choose a scent we hope you'll like. Sample candles can not be exchanged or a refund given should you not like the scent.

Unverified Address or Wrong Shipping Address

Please double check address is correct. Orders where the address can not be verified will not ship out until I hear back from you. If I have not heard back from you in 9 days the order will be cancelled and your money refunded. If you catch that you entered an address wrong before it ships, please message me so I can correct it before it ships. If it ships to wrong address I can not be held responsible and you will need to pay for it to be shipped to correct address.

Summer Time Shipping

During the hot summer months candles and wax melts can melt. It is best to have them held at post office or have someone there to receive package to prevent melting.
