Welcome to Couture Costumes and Props on Etsy!

I'm a costume designer and prop maker living in Burbank, CA.
I have a degree in Fashion Design and am a La Cordon Bleu trained chef.

I have built sets, displays and made wardrobe for; HMS Creative Productions, Global Effects, Disney Parks, Pageant of the Masters, Nordstrom stores and the Labyrinth of Jareth Masquerade.

I have worked as a prop maker, set costumer and specialty wardrobe maker for a variety of films and television shows. I have also crafted numerous costumes, accessories, props and set pieces for client commissions.

Accepted payment methods

Returns and exchanges
I don't accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations
But please contact me if you have any problems with your order.
Due to the custom nature of my work, I do not accept returns or exchanges.

Custom Orders: There are no refunds or exchanges once work has begun on your order. I guarantee each of the pieces to look and be assembled as they are shown with professional seams, finishing, and quality. Every item ordered from me is professionally sewn and constructed and is made to the measurements/designs you submit.

Unfortunately, due to the EU's new distance selling laws requiring that refunds be made available up to 14 days after receipt of items for any reason whatsoever to EU customers, I must withhold from selling to the EU. My policy is no returns or exchanges.
Payment
IN STOCK ITEMS: Payment to be made within 3 days of ordering and will ship USPS priority mail for US customers.

CUSTOM ORDERS: A Custom Listing will be created for ordering your specific item. I do not begin construction of your items until payment is received.

I accept PayPal payments, which are secure and safe. You can pay with PayPal even if you are not a registered PayPal user.
After you submit your order, click the "Pay Now" button. Scroll down and you will see the option to pay with a Credit or Debit Card WITHOUT having to sign up for a PayPal account.

Orders will ship USPS Priority Mail unless otherwise specified.

CUSTOM WORK- COSTUMES
Once payment is received, it will take an average of 4-8 weeks to complete your custom costume/prop unless otherwise specified. Costumes/props may be completed sooner depending on how heavy my production schedule is at the time you place your order. Double the time during the Convention/Halloween season. If you are unsure if I can accommodate your deadline, please contact me prior to submitting an order.

ORDER PROCESS-Costumes:
1. Each customer receives an order confirmation in writing, via email, prior to review all the details, shipping address, and time frames. No work will start until this step is finalized. If you decide to add details, change the design or any other elements that increase the time and material charges, you will be responsible for paying those charges prior to the item shipping.

2. Once the order confirmation is approved I ask for a 50% deposit to start working on your costume order.

3. Customers will have a measurement form that will need to be completed and emailed back in order for me to place your garment/prop order on the schedule. I will make the item according to the information provided. I cannot be responsible for fitting issues caused by mistaken measurements - please measure carefully.
If you wish to skip completing the form, any fitting issues are your responsibility.
Customers local to Los Angeles, California will have the option to come in to be measured and have fittings. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for all custom costume orders.

4. Your order goes through the production process. If I have any questions I will contact you along the way.

5. Once your order is complete, I will contact you to collect final balance on your order prior to shipping it.

6. Your order is shipped!
Shipping
IN STOCK ITEMS: Usually shipped within two to three days of payment.

Plush items can take up to a week as they are all made to order.
Please allow up to 4 to 8 weeks after purchase for all custom costume orders to ship unless otherwise noted.

***During peak seasons items may take longer to make and ship. At those times refer to the shop announcement for more details.***

Shipped items will be sent to the confirmed Paypal address unless further instruction is given. I cannot be held responsible for packages lost or misdirected due to insufficient address information. Once shipped, I am not responsible for delayed, lost, stolen or damaged packages.

All orders come with tracking through USPS.com. When you are notified that your order has been shipped, that messages will include your tracking number.

Please note that buyers are responsible for any and all duties and customs charges that may be incurred.
Additional policies and FAQs
All items are handcrafted.
Each plush is made to order, so there may be slight variations.
Embroidery is made to order. Color variations may occur due to monitor settings.

Occasionally fabrics pictured in made to order items may become unavailable. In this case a similar fabric is substituted. If you would like your item in another color combination or are looking for a specific fabric, please feel free to contact me and I will do my very best to fulfill your request.

Custom Orders-Costumes;
After agreeing on design, details and your budget, a Custom Listing will be created for you with a discussed price. After payment is received for that listing (and all pertinent measurement information) an approximate shipping date will be confirmed.
Additional Changes: A second Custom listing will be set up upon completion to settle your final charges.

Sizing and Measurements
Listed designs are based on standard American sizes.
