Care instructions

You should wash your mask before first use. These masks are machine washable and 100% cotton (unless specified in the listing). I suggest that you use a garment/delicates bag when washing to ensure the straps do not get tangled with other laundry and damage the mask. Due to the adjuster mechanism it is best to air-dry your mask. (I have put my masks through the dryer, in a garment bag, and they have been fine however the dryer may damage the adjuster over time.) You can iron your mask to get out any wrinkles and reshape it.

How does this mask fit?

The over the head masks are secured by placing the loop at the bottom of the mask around you neck, moving the mask into place over your nose and under you chin and tightening the adjuster around your head. The mask should fit snugly and comfortably over your nose and mouth and allow for breathing without restriction. You can convert your over the head mask to a full cover earloop by removing the strap and threading elastic through the casing on each side. I also offer an earloop version, which does not cover as much of your cheeks, the elastic on these is sewn in place.
Please see this video -https://www.instagram.com/p/CC39HIYn4JT/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link - for how to secure your mask.

Important Information on Face Masks

Please understand that face masks are not a replacement for medical grade Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and in circumstances where medical grade PPE is recommended, you should consult a health care professional. The decision to use this mask is solely your own. I do not claim that this mask will protect from contraction of any virus. Face coverings are recommended as an additional protection against illness but are not meant to replace any other protective measures recommended by the CDC including social distancing, washing your hands, and refraining from touching your face. According to the CDC “cloth face coverings should not be placed on young children under age 2, anyone who has trouble breathing, or is unconscious, incapacitated
