Frequently asked questions
Care instructions

Although the stoneware clay I use is considered to be dishwasher and microwave safe, it’s recommended to avoid microwave use and hand-wash dishware for best long term resilience. Oven use is not recommended.
*Please note that some unglazed pieces may discolor and age with regular use and washing. It is also common for fine cracks to appear in the glaze after repeated use- they may change the aesthetic of the piece, but are harmless!

Custom and personalized orders

At this time I'm not accepting custom orders. However, I'm always open to suggestions for future works and could make an exception for custom work if your idea inspires me!
As of now, I prefer to let my own creative whims guide me in what I'm producing for the shop.

Packaging

Every order is shipped with 100% reused, recycled, and/or biodegradable packaging materials- I'm committed to reducing my carbon footprint by sourcing packaging sustainably from my community.

Returns and damage during shipment

Returns only accepted if damage during shipping occurs. If items arrive damaged, contact within 7 BUSINESS DAYS of receiving your package for a full/partial refund of the item(s) NOT including shipping. After 7 business days, refunds will not be given. Customer is responsible for any return shipping costs.

Seconds

Pots marked as “seconds” are reduced in price due to varying types of flaws in either the clay body or glaze surface. Common issues that would qualify a pot as a second include “crazing” of the glaze (hairline cracks throughout the piece which some people enjoy the aesthetic of), a crack at the bottom of a piece making it unable to hold liquid, or small chips in the piece.
When purchasing one of these discounted pieces, **please note** often these flaws have no effect on durability, but sometimes they do! Please keep in mind that if a second you purchase from me breaks, I cannot offer an exchange or refund for the piece.
