Thank you for visiting our shop. This is an All Sales Final, Wholesale priced Supply shop. We are not able to accept returns, refunds, cancellations, or exchanges, due to the nature of our business inventory.

Our Business depends on Repeat Customers and we will do all we can to ensure safe delivery of your items.

If you are considering a purchase, please agree to honor our policies. The prices that you pay are based on an agreement to purchase under these policies and no other assumptions.

These policies have been carefully developed over years of online business in order to ensure fair and predictable treatment of all customers, ensure excellent and smooth customer service, and to protect this business so that I may continue to provide product at a reasonable price. I ask that if you do not agree to honor the shop policies that you do not purchase from this shop. Thank you for understanding. We will not make exceptions to the policies. These policies are enacted to enable me to offer all customers the absolute lowest prices possible. If you have any questions before purchasing, please see all photos on the listing, and read the information on the listing, and I am MORE than happy to answer any questions you may have about sizes, etc. Please feel free to contact me anytime. Please do not rely on Notes to Seller because this note will not be received until it is time for your order to be packed. Putting a note for a special consideration such as date of shipping, or properties of stones in "notes to seller" will not result in these requests being honored, because the note will not be seen until your order is packed, and also if a listing says random selection, requests for specific properties cannot be honored out of fairness to all.

Every one of our items for sale include a link to these policies, and the statement that by purchasing from our store, you are agreeing to these policies. We want your items to reach you safely.

First of all, if there has been a problem or mistake with your order, don't worry. Please let me know what is going on. I purchase insurance on orders over $40 before shipping, and replacement may be possible through the insurance claim process. If there has been a mistake, we'll fix it. Don't panic. Please contact me before leaving negative feedback. I will not contact you if you do so and any future orders will be cancelled. Not playing games. I do have these policies in place to protect both of us and there is no need for things to be anything but cooperative. I have provided with your order a number of ways to contact me including through "Contact seller" on my store page, or I have also provided you with several email addresses. If there is something missing from an order under $10, store policy is to issue a refund, not to ship additional items separately

I strongly recommend purchasing this insurance, but I have made this optional because I am sensitive to the fact that shipping costs have been rising dramatically in the past couple of years. Please purchase this insurance if you are not willing to accept the risk that your order may be lost or damaged.


ALL SALES ARE FINAL. (See following section " ON APPROVAL PROGRAM", and information about Insurance claims for loss or damage in the mail for the only exceptions) Returns, refunds and exchanges are not services this store provides, except where covered by insurance. We have had too many problems over the years with returns and we cannot accept returns. The extra time and expense providing these services would take are not reflected in our prices, and therefore if you make a purchase from us, you have not purchased the right to returns, refunds, or exchanges. If your purchase depends on assumptions that are not based in our policies as stated, please do not make a purchase without clarification. Again, because of our arrangements with various suppliers, including miners, lapidary artists, importers, and so forth, once an order has been placed, we are NOT able to cancel it. Once you have placed an order, you are contracting to have us supply you with what you have purchased, and we are not willing to take the loss of financial and time resources of having that contract broken. Also, packing and shipping is done by an employee at a separate location and they do not read my conversations, and therefore once an order has been sent to them there is no guarantee an address change will go through.

I do not participate in Etsy's order-cancellation-by-link feature. This was not in place when I opened by store here. My packing and shipping employee does not receive these requests. Once an order is placed, it goes with them to the shop to be pulled and I do not have internet access at that shop. I have a complicated inventory and keeping all these items in stock is expensive, and my ordering is based on what has been sold. Again, I am not budgeted to do order cancellations, and that is part of how I am able to offer the prices I do in this store, so if you have purchased from my shop, you have not purchased the right to cancellations, refunds, or exchanges. Please refer to the policies of a wedding boutique, thrift store, auctions, and other wholesale suppliers etc., this is one of my Terms of Service. All sales are final.

Please read listings carefully before purchasing and ask any necessary questions before purchasing. Please be sure to provide correct shipping information. Please view all photos and read measurements and if you have any questions please feel free to ask anytime.

ON APPROVAL PROGRAM: The only exception to our "All sales final" is as follows:
If you are not sure about a stone, you may make arrangements AHEAD OF TIME to purchase the stone through our " ON APPROVAL PROGRAM " . This means that you may purchase the stone as usual. If when you receive it, it is not going to work for your particular project, you may return it to us for store credit for the purchase price of the stone itself, minus a 15% cost of item handling fee. The shipping cost is non-refundable. We must receive the stone back in its original condition for store credit to be received. Therefore we would strongly suggest that you carefully pack the stone for the return trip and also purchase insurance. if there has been any damage to a stone, the return will NOT be accepted and if you would like it to be shipped back to you, you will have to pay for shipping again. Because of the shipping costs, it is only practical to purchase stones of significant value through this program. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer and stone must be received in original condition for credit to be issued.

If you have purchased stones through your own error that you absolutely cannot use, you can return them under the same conditions of the "On Approval Program" except that the handling fee will be 25% and there will be an additional $2.50 charge. Your store credit will be for the purchase price of the stones themselves not including the shipping and handling, minus 25% and minus a $2.50 fee. So if you spent $100, plus $5 shipping, your credit would be for $72.50. This is a supply shop and I spend a great deal of time packing orders, and I am not budgeted to ship an order more than once for the price that is charged, so I must charge these fees for my time if you want to make an exchange. Again, any stones that are not returned in EXACTLY their original conditional will NOT be accepted for exchange, and you will have to pay to have them shipped back to you. Store credit cannot be applied towards shipping. You will have to pay shipping on your replacement items. I am offering stones at extremely reasonable prices as I am sure you must agree if you have purchased from my shop, and the cost of returns and exchanges are not built into the prices and therefore if someone is insisting on violating my "all sales final" policy, they will have to absorb the cost, not the customers who are honoring this policy. All stones are carefully photographed and described in words and measurements with all necessary information, and the stones sent are exactly as pictured and described, and if a buyer has purchased the incorrect stones for their project, it is not due to there being a lack of information on the part of this shop, and therefore we cannot be responsible for absorbing the cost of the buyer's error.

I am a college graduate, a mother, and a mature hardworking adult making about $10 an hour for the work that I do, including overtime, no benefits, and no vacation. My prices are set up so that i get once to ship each order once. Asking me to do exchanges etc at this price where i have not calculated in this possibility, it is like if you picked out a color, and hired someone to paint your house the color you picked out. Then when they were done you decided that is not the color that you want after all and expect them to repaint the house a different color, off the clock for no additional pay. I will send you the stones that you ordered as pictured and described, and all the information is there. Therefore, all sales are final.

Please allow at least 1-5 business days packing/handling time before shipping to ensure that your pieces and the orders that came before you can be packed with the care that they deserve. I do work around the clock, 7 days a week, 364 days a year, obtaining new stock for this shop, taking great photos and accurate measurements, and packing orders carefully. A bit of patience on your part is requested. I am not amazon dot com or walmart. I am selling many unique items, maintain a diverse inventory for you at all times, and many of these items need to be sorted, weighed, and careful packing is a must. I promise I am working very hard to provide this service to you, affordably. Please be willing to wait a few days for your order to be shipped so i can pack the orders that came before yours with the same care I will use to pack your order. If I hired a bunch of people and had to pay for their employment, training, mistakes, and returns due to lack of quality control, I would have to charge twice as much for everything. Believe me, I tried hiring and it caused a lot of problems. So its just one person. Thanks for your patience and understanding. Why we give our measurements in mm primarily:
We are catering to jewelers in this store, and precision can be important. Gemstones are usually measured in mm, and many of our crystals are used as gems in raw crystal jewelry. We use jewelers callipers to measure our stones to achieve this precision, and they measure in mm. We will often convert to inches in our descriptions, but not always. If you have difficulty converting mm to inches, all you have to do is put in the google search bar "35 mm in inches" (or however many mm you are converting) and it will tell you. If you have any questions we are happy to help. We also usually photograph stones with any of the following: 1/4 inch graph paper, inch or centimeter/mm ruler, a coin or other object. Again if you need help converting feel free to ask.
One inch = 25 mm
One half inch = 12.5 mm
1/4 inch is about 6 mm
1/3 inch is about 8 mm
1/10th inch is 2.5 mm
1.5 inch = 37.5 mm
2 inches = 50 mm
2.5 inches = 62.5 mm
etc
Please note that jewelers, wire wrappers, raw stone jewelry makers, vial necklace makers, and other craftspeople do use stones of various sizes in their jewelry from the tiny to the very large. I sell stones that are all across the board. Please if you have any questions before ordering feel free to ask. Please take the time to read the measurements and view all photos and the information IS there for you to be able to determine if the stone is the size that you need. Please do not assume that a stone will fit what you want it to if you do not read the measurements, etc. If you have questions , please ask. PLEASE CONSIDER CONSULTING A RULER WHEN LOOKING THROUGH THE SHOP IF YOU HAVE DIFFICULTY VISUALIZING MEASUREMENTS. If i say something is 3/4 inch long several times in a headline and a listing, and show rulers and coins and graph paper and so on, it is completely unfair to me to leave negative feedback that something was smaller than you expected if it is, indeed, 3/4 inch long as pictured and described. 3/4 inch is 3/4 inch. It is not an objective judgement. It is a matter of fact, and 3/4 inch on your ruler is the SAME 3/4 inch showing up on my German designed engineer quality callipers.

Due to the fluctuation in shipping times, you must be willing to wait 60 days before a claim can be filed for international orders (orders sent outside of the United States). No store credit will be given until the insurance claim process is complete, which may take several weeks. Etsy has chosen to integrate U Pic Insurance with the Etsy website, and that is the company we are using and therefore we are operating on their schedule. Insurance claims are subject to approval by u-pic.

All items are shipped by the United States Postal Service.
Please allow at least 5 business days for packing/handling time before shipping to ensure that your pieces and all orders that came before yours can be packed with the care that they deserve. If you need an order in a rush, a rush handling fee of $10 to $20 depending on order size is an option for you, and if you would like to upgrade to a faster shipping method such as Priority mail or Global express, feel free to contact us for this as well.

Out of fairness to all of our customers, unless you have paid for Rush Handling, orders will be pulled, packed, and shipped in the sequence they are received. Notes such as "I need this in a hurry. Please send out as soon as possible" cannot be honored unless you have paid for rush handling because we believe that this would be unfair to other customers.

It is very important that you provide the correct address with your payment. We print our shipping through Paypal or through Etsy directly from the shipping information on your order, for the most part, so if you have provided an incorrect address to Paypal or Etsy's credit card checkout system, this might cause some serious problems for you.
UPS may be used at our discretion when shipping extreme weight.

If you have given us an incorrect address, and something is sent back to us, and it needs to be reshipped we will have to charge you for shipping again.

International Orders under $1000 will be sent by International First Class mail. Orders over $40 will be sent with insurance, unless you are in one of the countries in the list not covered by insurance as mentioned at the END of my insurance. We may send as Priority mail or Registered mail at our discretion, or if you would like to request this, there may be an additional charge involved. There is NO WAY for First Class International mail to be tracked. By purchasing from our store , you are accepting that you will not be able to track your items. If you would like to upgrade to a shipping method that includes tracking, this will involve a substantial additional charge and please contact us before order or immediately after ordering to have this set up for you. You must be willing to wait 60 days before we can file a claim if your item has not been received or if it has been damaged in the mail. You may be required to submit photographs or return a damaged item in order for your claim to be processed.

International orders over $1000 will be sent by International Global Express mail with Insurance and signature confirmation. In cases of extreme weight and value, your items will be sent by the most secure method within reason available for the weight and size of the items, and we will discuss and agree on a shipping method with the buyer before the items are sent. Typically this will be Global Express mail with Insurance and Signature Confirmation, or International Priority mail, This will depend on weight and size.

Please realize that we have no control over whether your postal system decides to charge duties or customs fees on your items, and you are responsible for paying these fees. In some countries (especially Germany for some reason) your post office may hold an international package at the post office for you to pick up in person and they may not even notify you of this, so please if you have not received your package, please check at the post office. If you do not claim your item from the post office and it is returned to us, you may be required to pay for postage again. So if you have not received your package, please check with your post office. If you need any information from us such as the address we sent the package from, a description of the package, or the customs form number just let us know.
Refunds and Exchanges
RETURNS & REFUND POLICY

No returns or exchanges will be entertained, UNLESS IT IS AN OBVIOUS ERROR THAT I MADE IN THE DESCRIPTION OR SENT THE WRONG ITEM . An obvious error would be a significant error (more than 10% of the total) in size or weight. If you are not sure about an item, please ask for more information or pictures before buying, or please do not purchase from our store. Differences in color do not qualify for returns because stones will look different on different monitors, under different lighting, etc. We have decided against processing returns for a variety of reasons. This is the policy we have decided on with many years of experience and the additional time and expense of processing returns, refunds, and exchanges are not included in the price that you are paying for our items. This is not a service that is provided by this business. If you are someone who wants to buy from a store that accepts returns and refunds, it is probably better for you not to purchase from our store. See "On Approval Program" and details about insurance for any exceptions. Please look at all photos and read the description for our items, and we are happy to provide more information if you have additional questions before purchasing.

If I have sent you a completely incorrect item, I will happily provide you with a prepaid, preaddressed return shipping to return the item to us, in the original condition that it was received by you, and we will send you the correct item when the return has been received.

No refunds will occur over subjective opinions that are not based in proven scientific fact. No refunds will occur over disputes over classification of a mineral. We know our sources and are careful in correctly identifying and describing our specimens and taking accurate pictures. If you do not agree with our description, please do not purchase the item.

Please contact us if there is a problem. If there has been damage or loss, that is why we buy insurance. If there has been an error made, then we can fix it. If you leave negative feedback, you will not be allowed to continue to purchase from this store. Any future orders will be refunded and cancelled. So please think twice before leaving a negative feedback with no attempt or effort to resolve things amicably. This is a matter of policy. My reputation I take very seriously, and more and more people seem to be using negative feedback to extort, rather than even the slightest attempt communication, and I am getting pretty tired of it and so I have adopted this policy. Please do not leave negative feedback because something wasn't what you wanted even though I carefully and meticulously took multiple photos and gave incredibly specific measurements and so on. This is a very egocentric view of the world, and it isn't fair.


Packing & Shipping Specimens
(Please Read Carefully)
Items that we sell may be wrapped in various ways depending on the nature of the item. For instance, a specimen may be wrapped in layers of tissue paper, within layers of bubble wrap, and surrounded by backing peanuts, etc.. . I encourage the customer to be especially careful in unwrapping their specimens. For example, you might set a folded towel on the table when you open your package and unwrap bubble wrap and packaging over the towel so you do not lose or damage your beautiful specimens.


Combined Shipping Policy
I combine shipments for customers purchasing more than one item. Usually there is a base price and an additional 75 cents - $2.00 per item priced according to weight and any additional packing considerations. Sometimes I may not be able to combine items in one shipment, due to size and weight differences in the specimens. I reserve the right to make this decision in the best interest of preserving the specimens. I do not offer flat fee shipping and do have to charge an additional fee for each item for a variety of reasons mentioned in the following paragraph. Please realize that i MUST pay my packing and shipping person a fair living wage, and that each item takes time to retrieve from inventory and/or measure and./or weigh, and package and ship.

Shipping costs are not only the actual dollar value of the postage paid to the post office but may also partially cover our cost to deliver your items to you including such materials as bubble mailers, bubble wrap, printer ink, paper, packing tape, and more. Also, we purchase insurance on almost every order . For the most part, our shipping costs do NOT cover the packing materials and whatnot, just the shipping plus the insurance. The cost of the item itself is what we would charge for the actual item itself if someone were to buy it from us in person, but also some of our packing materials ARE coming out of the item cost as well. Finally, in order to have time to be able to photograph and list new pieces for this store, I have had to hire someone to pack and ship orders, and paying their wages contributes significantly to shipping expenses. I use only the BEST packing and shipping supplies that I have found on the market because the postal system can be brutal and i don't want a beautiful, millions of years old specimen to be broken because i was worried about saving on bubble wrap. I am actually taking a substantial LOSS on shipping. Thank you for understanding.

We do not "reserve" listings due to a number of issues that have occurred. However if there is something you see that you like but cannot afford all at once, we are willing to work out a payment plan. A non refundable deposit of at least 10% may also be arranged in order to hold a piece for you.
