real works of art. made mine the most beautiful adorable cute and altogether best kitchen and food served, wow...ever! at an affordable price.! That little crinkly heat proof fabric sets them apart from my others since it really works... got to toss my old ultra fugly professional cooking mitts. so happy, thank you!

A loving home, where one is proud and happy to work in the kitchen... I've been getting my lady head around service for awhile now but fact is when the home is well managed and I do a good job it inspires, feeds, nourishes, welcomes, and makes grow all things family and friends beautiful and by extension its made me, well, super powerful. These potholders, made with love, well made, a crown for a queen? get them... kinda work that way, besides holding hot cast iron.

Loved this item so much, I ordered 2 more for gifts. One will be to celebrate an 80th b’day party for a neighbor. This item is incredibly detailed, and the quilts in a a frame are so unique. Love this shop and will purchase additional items for upcoming gifts. Quilting takes me back in time....

About

Quilting Over the Years

I've always loved working with fabrics and colors. My fascination for history draws me to different periods of design and reproduction fabrics from Civil War, Life on the Prairie, the 20s 30s up to modern fabrics and designs of today. Have to admit I have a special love for the Civil War and Prairie Era. I give every quilt special attention to fine detail, quilting, and embellishments. Some of my miniatures have more pieces than most larger bed quilts being produced today.
My studio overlooks the Rocky Mountains and is mostly snow covered. But spring brings the wildflowers (violets, arnicas, balsamroots, lupin). Wild animals wander by. My store banner is that of a coyote that swung by for his picture. Other visitors include elk, black bears, bald eagles, wolves and moose.
My customers are my biggest pleasure. I enjoy their feedback and pictures of the homes my quilts decorate. I have done special orders and even decorated homes with my quilts and made lots of friends.

Welcome to my store. I have been sewing and quilting since I was a child. I had good mentors....my mother, grandmother, and greatgrandmother. I am the president of our local quilt guild and involved in chairing, advertising and promoting quilt shows in my community. I am inspired by color, design and detail and am constantly trying and sharing new techniques. You can find me handquilting at our Historical Village old one room schoolhouse once a week with 10 other lovely ladies. Our handwork supports the village grounds...new roofs, boardwalk..... I may be retired, but I'm not retired from supporting the community and raising the awareness of the art of quilting.
