Make Every Day a Cozy Day!

As a yoga teacher, I aim to instill peace and relaxation in every class. Sometimes I use a functional approach that involves certain props, like blocks, so that my students feel supported and their muscles can release tension and relax.

Shouldn't we have that same support at home? As humans, we create bonds with items of comfort because they make us feel good. Cozying up on the couch with your favorite blanket or comfy item can subconsciously allow you to relax...bringing peace and calmness to your mind and body.

I have a vestibular disorder that results in dizziness every day. I made my first chunky blanket as a form of therapy to combat the daily anxiety I was experiencing. Even months after completing it, I find myself drawn to that blanket when I need to relax and reset. It has become my cozy comfort, my support.

My heart and soul goes into making each of these cozy items. My hope is that they can become a source of support and comfort for others :)
