5 out of 5 starsSorry for the late review. Fast delivery, item received within a week which is quick considering that I live in Singapore. The camera was properly packaged and in excellent condition. Love the carrying bag that comes along with it. Seller even included a lovely postcard with a handwritten note on it :) Tested it out with a fresh film pack and is working perfectly well! Now, I bring it out whenever I can and snap great pictures with it! Thank you so much! :)

5 out of 5 starsIt came in so quickly! Took a little finagling to figure out how to open it and move things, but I'm really happy with it! Pretty sure I'm keeping it as a shelf heirloom, but maybe one day something can come of it. Thanks so much! I've been wanting a box bellows camera for a long time.
Shop policies
I'm a ridiculously enthusiastic photographer and collector of random photography related awesomeness. I buy old cameras and actually use them; I buy old film and shoot it; I buy old slides and make crafts out of them. I know there are people out there who are just looking for an antique camera to sit on a shelf - that's fine, and I welcome those customers (and am envious - I have so little shelf space!), but I'm just going to post items with the assumption that they will actually be used. A lot of the cameras that will be for sale are ones that I've actually shot with before, so I can give details on their functionality, or lack thereof. I will give as much information as possible about the items that I'm selling in the description, but if there is something I don't have covered, please convo me about additional information.
Please note that I also am on Etsy under a different user name, Yarnzombie. I have a shop where I sell hand dyed yarns and fibers, as I've had a similar journey with that world as well as the photography world. That shop is at http://gaslightdyeworks.com , or just search Etsy for the user name Yarnzombie. It just seemed to make sense to me to keep the yarn separate from the cameras. Don't want things to get all tangly! As this shop is new (I'm opening it April 21, 2010), feel free to check out my Yarnzombie profile to see the feedback I've received.
Accepted payment methods
Returns and exchanges
1. Film, photographic paper, and anything that can possibly expire or has already expired will not be accepted as a return. Sorry about that.
2. Any other object sold in the shop can be returned. In order to return an item, you must contact me within a week of receiving it. The item that is being returned must be in the condition it was originally received. Any returns must be received by me within 10 days of being contacted by the customer. The customer pays return shipping. Once I receive the returned item, I will issue a PayPal refund to the e-mail address that made the purchase. Shipping is not refundable.
Note - I will be selling the occasional item in this shop that doesn't work. I know a fair amount about cameras, and if I know I'm selling a brick, I'll put that in the description. Please read the descriptions carefully before ordering. If you order a camera that clearly states it doesn't work, and then want to return it because it doesn't work, well, that's just silly and turns out to be a big waste of time and money.
Shipping insurance is optional and can be purchased at the discretion of the customer. Please let me know if you would like the shipping insured, and I can add that fee onto the order. Any uninsured losses that may occur during shipping falls outside of my responsibility.
Payment
Shipping
United States customers: Most items will be shipped US Priority Mail. I've shipped over a thousand packages using this service in the past few years, and in my experience, packages have always arrived promptly and in good condition. If I'm shipping something particularly small, like a roll of film or a lens filter, I may ship using first class mail instead. Insurance is optional, and must be requested when the item is purchased. If you would prefer to have items shipped through First Class Mail or Parcel Post (when available), please let me know and I can figure out the adjusted shipping. I will ship to the PayPal address unless otherwise indicated.
International customers: I ship First Class Mail International. This service is less expensive than Priority Mail International, but I will ship Priority if it is requested. First Class Mail varies widely in price and length of time it takes to get to its destination. In my experience, mail to Great Britain tends to be among the most expensive and take the longest time to arrive; mail to Canada tends to be cheaper, etc. Because of the wide variation in prices from country to country, I will list in the item description that International shipping is $0. This is only because all international shipping charges are to be determined by a case by case basis. So, I recommend to my international customers to wait to pay for their purchases until after I send them a specialized Paypal invoice with their actual shipping charges included. I reserve the right to refuse shipments to specific countries (I'm not going to ship stuff to a war zone, for instance).
Another note to international customers - I will not falsify customs forms. Any taxes or duty fees are solely the responsibility of the customer.
Unless otherwise specified, all purchases are shipped within 2 business days of payment. I will contact customers (either through an automated e-mail with a tracking number for US customers, or through an e-mail for international customers) when their purchases have been shipped.
