Where the one of a kind has come to life.
I've always loved color. I've loved it best in nature, where colors and tones are endless and it inspires me in every piece I create.
You can see my love of color in the jewelry I create. I love to work with with natural stones that have surprising streaks of nature's flair. Natural materials hold such a spectrum of color with anything from bright and invigorating to gentle and soft. I love the balance of sterling silver and antique copper or soft fabrics against natural stones. I've been designing and creating jewelry for over ten years now and the inspirations never end.
Pottery is my favorite way to wile away a day, playing with mud to create something unique each time. I've been throwing pottery for over five years and the clay never ceases to amaze me. Every time I throw a lump on the wheel it takes it's own direction. Clay seems to have it's own idea of what it wants to be and the glazes act the same way. You never know quite what you're going to get when a piece comes out of the kiln. The colors of glaze react with the heat differently almost every time.
My artwork is a medley of materials. Some pieces stay true to tradition with acrylic paint bringing that burst of energy to a space. Other times I incorporate metal, wood, clay and other natural materials to give a piece its own individual character.
I also love working with people to design and create pieces that are authentic to a person. I would be thrilled to design a piece or collection built around you and your lifestyle. Please feel free to contact me at designer [!at] craftedmetalandearth.com if you are looking for an original or custom piece.
I've always loved color. I've loved it best in nature, where colors and tones are endless and inspire me in every piece I create. I've been dabbling in crafts for 10 years and spend each day working on new jewelry, pottery, artwork and leather bags.
Humans have endless talents. They inspire, create, and push the boundaries and on Etsy it shows!
I've always had a love of crafts and the inspirations are endless. Currently I'm working on jewelry, pottery, and acrylic painting but I have a love of sewing and other art mediums and a background in carpentry. All these varied loves of mine find their way into my pieces.
Most of all I love color and the way that nature works color into every ounce of our lives.
I also love working with others to design and create pieces that are authentic to you. Please feel free to contact me either through Etsy or at designer [!at] craftedmetalandearth.com.
