Cuando comencé a enganchar el pestillo, era algo que podía hacer con mi madre mientras estábamos sentados en la sala de estar viendo la televisión. A medida que crecía, seguí perfeccionando el oficio, pero lo hice por mi cuenta y como regalo para familiares y amigos.
Un día, tenía a alguien como yo si podía hacerles uno y ellos pagarían por ello. Estaban buscando un regalo para alguien y habían visto un deporte colgando que yo hacía. Ese fue el comienzo. Nació Latch Hooks de Samantha.
Latch Hooking sigue siendo un pasatiempo que me ayuda a relajarme después del trabajo. Pero el hecho de que pueda compartir con personas que aprecian el arte o ayudar a las personas a dar regalos que los sorprendan me hace disfrutarlo mucho más.
Mis piezas vienen de un hogar con ayudantes... el apartamento tiene un gato y un perro, pero todas las piezas se limpian y aspiran antes de irse. Todo el trabajo se realiza en una superficie libre de cabello
When I first started latch hooking, it was something I could do with my mom while we sat in the living room watching TV. As I got older, I continued perfecting the craft, but did it on my own and as presents for family and friends.
One day, I had someone as me if I could make them one and they would pay for it. They were looking for a gift for someone and had seen a sports hanging I did. That was the beginning. Latch Hooks by Samantha was born.
Latch Hooking is still a pastime that helps me relax after work. But the fact that I can share with people who appreciate art or help people give gifts that wow them makes me enjoy it so much more.
My pieces do come from a home with helpers...the apartment does have a cat and dog, but all pieces are cleaned and vacuumed before leaving. All work is done on a hair free surface
