Love the vintage look of this custom printed recipe tea towel! These make great wedding and Mother's Day gifts, and are a tangible & practical way to preserve and display a bit of family history!

About

Wife, Mama, Sadhaka, Crafter, Ginger, PhD.

I enjoy creating useful items that are simple in design, allowing great fabric designs to be the star.

I learned to sew as a pre-teen from my mom - an amazing builder/crafter/potter/seamstress/any other skill you can think of - on her mother's vintage Singer Slant-O-Matic machine. That same machine is now what I use daily!

Over the years I've always had a fabric stash that I've moved from place to place. I've pulled the machine out for occasional projects, but in 2013, I decided to start trying my hand at making items to sell. I have a deep fondness for geekdom, and I love the way that custom fabric printing shops like Spoonflower can open up a wide world of possibilities on this front. I'm a practical person with a weakness for fun fabric, so my items reflect that - handmade, useful stuff!

All my items are handmade by me (on electricity machines, I'm not THAT old-school!) in my home. When I'm not sewing, I'm busy herding squirrels - er, I mean, parenting 2 young kids - and teaching Yoga. I wear a lot of hats! Oooh, maybe I should make some hats...

Thanks for checking out my shop! I strive to create high-quality handmade items. If you are ever less than satisfied with a purchase from me, please let me know, and I'll work with you to come to a resolution. I try my best to assume the positive in any situation until I'm proven wrong - I hope you will also :)

Returns and exchanges
No refunds or exchanges on custom-designed items. In case of defect in workwomanship, contact me and we will work together to come to a solution.

Should a client wish to back out of a custom-printed item purchase, a full refund will only be given in cases where I have not done any work on the item. In cases where pre-printing work has been done (work on proofs, etc.), the maximum refundable amount is the cost of fabric for the given project.

Once buyer gives a proof final approval and I order fabric, no changes can be made and no refunds will be given. Approval of proof constitutes acceptance of the artwork.
Payment
Paypal not accepted for in-person delivery, sorry.
Shipping
I ship most everything USPS. I am unable to provide tracking for international packages. I re-use materials in packing and shipping, such as plastic grocery bags to wrap items inside envelopes instead of fancy tissue paper :) I hope you'll appreciate my efforts to be thrifty and green :)

International customers please note that you will be responsible for customs or point-of-entry tax.
Additional policies and FAQs
All my items are handmade with care, and will vary slightly from item to item as a result. If you are ever unsatisfied with an item, please contact me directly and I will try to work out a resolution. Electronics cases are made with a layer of padding and the D-rings are at least triple-stitched for strength. I am not responsible for damage to your device while it's in one of my cases, however. As I note in the listings, it's not kryptonite, for Pete's sake. It's like I tell my kids: if something is important to you, treat it accordingly. So don't go throwing your iPad around or swinging it wildly by the wrist strap and then assume I'll buy you a new one :)

RESERVED LISTING POLICY: If I create a reserved/custom listing for you based upon an Etsy or FB exchange, you will have 2 weeks (14 calendar days) from the time I contact you to let you know that the listing is up to either purchase the item or communicate your intent to purchase. I understand needing to wait until payday, etc., but I put time and money into my creations so I ask that you respect that. If two weeks pass with no communication I reserve the right to open the listing up to the public for sale. If there is ever any concern, PLEASE get in touch - it is my sincere desire for everything to go pleasantly.

CUSTOM PRINTED ITEMS POLICY: For custom printed items, buyer will receive high-quality proof before fabric is ordered. I am happy to make any adjustments requested. Once buyer gives a proof final approval and I order fabric, no changes can be made. Approval of proof constitutes acceptance of the artwork.
