I'm not sure why the sellers of these designs don't tell you which thickness material the projects are designed for. I cut the first box out of 6mm basswood and had to go back and cut it out of 3mm basswood. wasted two pieces of 6mm. With 3mm basswood the boxes all fit together perfectly. I cut the Xs and Os out of the two pieces of 6mm that was cut into a box, so I didn't really waste all of the 6mm basswood. Overall, a nice design. My granddaughter loves it.
