My only complaint is that the seasoning on the cast Iron fryer was not as described. The description sounded like it was seasoned and ready to cook with, but I had to strip it back down and will have to reseaon before giving it as a Christmas gift.
My friend Kim is opening a real brick and mortar vintage repurpose store in my town. She has asked me to sell some of my items there, so here's to trying something new! If you are from the Pittsburgh area stop by the first weekend of every month to see me! 4-6 California Ave. Avalon, PA 15202 Or check us out at http://reposhture.blogspot.com/ . GRAND OPENING Dec 13, 2014
I love bringing out the value in something discarded or unwanted and connecting that treasure to someone who will love it! After being in business for several years, I can now seek out pieces that my customers truly look for. My three children are now in school all day so I have more time to devote to my work. I love the flexibility of making my own schedule and being available to my family while still working in an area that I love. I have also branched out to helping local people sell items from loved one's estates. It is rewarding to show value to special pieces of a family's history. Etsians are fun to work with and I love the personal messages about memories my shop brings back for them.
My husband Tom has picked up the hobby of metal detecting. He has his own section of dug historical items in my shop now. I am excited about this new joint venture- we both love treasure hunting!
Hope you find something that you like, thanks for visiting!
My shop was featured in our local newspaper The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette! Here is a link to the article http://www.post-gazette.com/business/2013/11/03/Art-and-a-new-craft/stories/201311030112
I have always loved yardsaling and thrifting, since I learned the value of a dollar at a young age. Now I can use my experience to connect buyers to items that they treasure.
