Announcement   Welcome to my Etsy shop in historic Kyoto, Japan. I've used a wide range of eco bags myself and have designed my bags to combine the best features of all. If you walk to the market, these bags are great because they are strong, lightweight, and will not hit against your legs like most of the current designs do. The fabric handles are soft and will not dig into your hands like nylon handles. These bags fold up small so you can always have one on hand in your purse. Thanks for stopping in and I'm looking forward to your next visit!

Also, please surf on over to my sister's Etsy shop if you have a moment. She does fabulous paintings of animals. She happily takes commissions so if you have a favorite picture of your pet, she will paint a fantastic portrait for you! Her work is truly remarkable so please stop by her shop. My Bunnies 3 can be found at http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5173279 .

P.S. I use pretty Japanese commemorative stamps to mail your purchase, so let me know if there is any particular design you would like. Japanese stamps are truly little treasures!

This was an absolutely perfect purchase. Janine is such a kind and helpful seller, and was even able to tweak the bag to my specifications a bit. It works great as a bring-to-work lunch bag, and holds exactly what I hoped it would hope. Arrived quickly from overseas, too. Thanks so much again for everything!

The bag is beautiful and as described. It was nicely packed and the owner left us a nice note inside, indicating also how to care for the bag so it won't lose its vibrant colours. Shipping was fast, as always is within Japan. It's going to be a gift for my sister-in-law and I hope she is going to love it as much as I did.

Shop policies

Welcome to my shop policy page. I make my eco bags using remnants, making most of them one-of-a-kind items. If a particular fabric tickles your fancy, I recommend you grab it while you can!

Accepted payment methods

  • Pay with Visa
  • Pay with Master Card
  • Pay with American Express
  • Pay with Discover
  • Pay with PayPal
Payment
I prefer PayPal for payment. Personal checks are not accepted as I cannot cash them here in Japan.
Shipping
Your item will be shipped via the Japanese post office using the extremely reasonable Small Packet rate. This rate does not include tracking, so if you want your item tracked, let me know and I'll be happy to arrange it with the post office. Tracking costs an additional $4.

Shipping generally takes about 10 to 14 days to reach most places on the planet, however, recently I've had packages take up to six weeks. If you would prefer EMS shipping to guarantee quick delivery, I would be happy to set that up with the post office and quote you the additional shipping fee.

I am happy to ship anywhere in the world Japan Post can ship to.
Refunds and Exchanges
I hope you will not need to return an item, but if you are dissatisfied with your purchase, then by all means please let me know. Returns will be accepted, minus the postage. If your item is lost or fatally damaged in the mail, a full refund will be given.
Additional policies and FAQs
I love Japanese postage stamps and have quite a variety that I can use to ship your item. If you like any particular subjects (castles, flowers, cartoons, scenery, temples, animals, trains) let me know and I'll try to use some on your package.
