Announcement   Chris Guercio (Crazy Eye Fused Glass) has been fusing glass in her home studio in Ellicott City, Maryland since 2010 after taking classes at the Columbia Art Center in nearby Columbia. She has studied at several different studios, including Corning Museum of Glass in New York, Weisser Glass in Kensington, Maryland, and Vitrum Studios in Beltsville, Maryland. Every piece Chris makes is unique and is her own design, although she may start with an image, poem, or photograph as inspiration.

The name of Chris' business is a play on her last name, Guercio (pronounced grrr-see-oh), which in Italian means "cross-eyed," "one-eyed," or "lazy-eyed." Chris likes to think that her "crazy-eyed" perspective on life and love helps her find beauty everywhere. Making fused glass brings her peace and serenity, and she hopes that you enjoy her artwork as much as she enjoys making it.

Crazy Eye Fused Glass also makes custom pieces! If you have a design, favorite color palette or concept in mind, contact me at crazy.eye.fused.glass [!at] gmail.com and let's talk!

Welcome to my shop and thank you very much for visiting! The fused glass pieces I make by hand are all original in design and concept.

I have been asked in the past to recreate a piece that was not for sale and was able to come pretty close--of course, each piece is unique because each is hand-made. No two items will ever be exactly alike.
