I love color, well if you know me I don’t exactly wear color but I love to paint in it. Color, texture and movement are my main focus when it comes to painting. I paint the things that I like, born and raised in Monmouth County I’m a true Jersey girl (Bruce Springsteen, the Jersey Shore, summer, America loving kinda girl), I know not very original but hey, I like what I like and I have fun showing it. Until recently I was pretty shy about my art, I never advertised it and barely showed anyone anything I made, besides my students (and they think I’m amazing and the best artist in the whole world).

In the past few months I actually started showing the world my art, and people actually wanted to buy it! My style is simple and happy…. I paint in layers, the backgrounds are acrylic paint and to them I add watercolor, watercolor paper, sharpie, glitter, spray paint, words, mod podge, spray glue, mica, mirror paper, acrylic sealer, chalk paint, sequins, studs, bandannas, burlap, decorative paper, shells, sea glass, more acrylic and so on. Being an art teacher I spend my days immersed in all types of mediums, with children that are even more excited about art than I am, and every day is a great day!
