Welcome to Created by Vanessa where everything is handmade in the USA by yours truly. I have always loved to crochet and create things. Here, I get a chance to share what I make.
I offer a wide array of crocheted accessories that include stylish fingerless gloves or wristlets, scarves, and neckwarmers. I am now making decoupage items such as magnets, pushpins, and one of a kind switch or electric plates.
Along with the usual crocheted accessory items, you will find adorable little finger puppets, soft and comforting animal blankies for babies and toddlers, unique bibs and even Flying Pigs.
I also make home items. From 100% cotton facial scrubbies for your bath and beauty needs, to nylon pot scrubbers for cleaning. You will find adorable animal pot holders to decorate your kitchen, one of a kind, coffee cozies and much, much more.
Here you will find the normally offered crocheted items along with a large selection of unusual and hard to find items.
I welcome custom orders. If you'd like something in a different color, or size, or if you are looking for something that you don't see in the shop that doesn't mean I can't help you.

5 out of 5 starsOMGoodness! In a great way! How is this knitted? The yarn is soft and tweed specks in the yarn are subtle and not very large. The scarf is lovely. I'm contemplating keeping it, but I am gifting it to someone. :(. Great for her, but sucks for me! Prompt delivery, too!

I was about ten years old when my mother taught me to crochet and I've been hooking away ever since.
What was once a hobby became more and more of an obsession, until one day my future daughter in law told me that I should be selling my items on Etsy.com. I have been doing that for several years now.
My Etsy shop has become a big part of my life. Every time I send out a pair of fingerless gloves, neckwarmer, or scarf, I feel a sense of satisfaction and accomplishment. I think about the babies and children that are receiving my animal blankies and finger puppets, and hope that they have a ton of fun with them.
