The Motorsport Fever!

The idea came about for crafting these historic beauties a couple of years ago. I inherited the motorsport fever from my Dad. Now, my Dad has the great timing of his birthday and Father’s Day being within a couple of days of each other. Not his fault I know, but every year it becomes increasingly difficult to find a gift for both occasions. So, after frustratingly finding nothing and not having much money, I thought, ‘sod-it, I’ll just draw him something!’ Choosing the Jim Clark illustrious Lotus 33 to represent his teenage years. I crafted the image, printed it, mounted it, framed it and he loved it! (or at least that’s what he said!). This was the dawning of a fresh idea.
I decided to draw upon the romance I’d witnessed growing up, beasts I’d remember from the cold, wet forests of Wales, the noisy brash brutes of Silverstone or Brands Hatch, legends with a provenance, with a folk lore, we all fondly remember!
These are perfect for a freshly decorated office, a man cave or even a shrine in the downstairs toilet. We’re all Petrol Heads together and we love our Wall Art! Thank you for browsing.
