The story so far...
With a degree in Fine Art from the University of Tasmania (1996), Nicky has spent nearly 30 years as a graphic designer, working across commercial clients both big and small in Australia, the UK, and New Zealand.
In the late 2000s, while balancing motherhood with two boys, Nicky began creating hand-screened t-shirts and digital party printables, designs that solved her own parenting chaos and soon filled the gap for other busy parents. The Lost Prints was born as a practical creative outlet.
That foundation led to something bigger. In 2015, Nicky founded Awesome Inc, a mental health and emotional literacy brand rooted in the science of positive psychology. For nearly a decade, she built systems, created beautiful products (gratitude journals, affirmation card sets), and learned what it takes to scale a vision. She sold Awesome Inc. in Sept 2025.
Now in her early 50s, Nicky is stepping back into service-based work—exactly where she belongs. The Lost Co. channels everything she's learned: how to build systems that actually work, create with intention, and support other women-led businesses through the messy middle. She's also reclaimed The Lost Prints, evolving it into empowerment gear and practical tools for women navigating midlife, perimenopause, and the exhaustion of refusing to stay quiet.
This is the stage of life where Nicky finally feels comfortable using her voice. The Lost Co. and The Lost Prints are proof that you don't need permission to speak up—you just need to be ready.
Find your way. Light your fire.
