CreativeMaria's Shop Policies
Welcome to Creative Maria, a small business establishment that customizes and personalizes hand stamped jewelery and fashion accessories. I started out making small jewelery items for myself and close family and then decided to make some for customers like you. So head on over to my store and I am sure you will find something for everyone.
Store Policies for International and Domestic Purchases:-
-Creative Maria is a small business and hence will not process (which includes making of and shipping) any orders, custom or otherwise, unless paid for FIRST, by the customer.
-Once I receive payment, I start on the item once I receive payment for it . Hence, any changes or otherwise need to be brought to my attention within the first 24 hours of purchase, after which I will not be able to change the item for you, particularly if it is customized.
- I usually keep custom listings active for 24 hours from the time the listing is set up. If the buyer has not checked out in this period, it will cost an additional $ 0.50 to re-list the same.
-Once you have paid for the item, it will be shipped out to you within roughly 7days days from the date on which the order is placed, unless it is a very large order.
-Once an order has been placed, you have only until the end of the day to make any changes you desire. Once the item has been completed by me, you would need to pay for any changes that need to be made, as it would mean redoing the entire piece.
Further, I strictly follow the message in "Notes to Seller", not the message in the Etsy convos. If nothing is specified in "notes to seller", i will hand stamp the message in the original listing itself and no refund will be made to the customer, thereafter.
If you are not pleased with the size fit of an item, it needs to be shipped back to me first. Once I receive the item, a new one will be shipped to you.
-The items offered in my store and all handmade - i.e. hand cut, shaped, buffed, polished and stamped. Hence do not expect absolute perfection in alignment or shaping, as you would a manufactured item.
- As soon as the item has been shipped, an e-mail notification will be sent to you and a tracking number will be provided to you. Please use this number to initiate inquiries with the USPS, as I cannot do so for you.
-Returns will only be accepted for non-customized items.
- No Returns or Cancellations will be accepted 24 hrs. after the order has been processed.
For International Orders:-
-As soon as your item is shipped, an e-mail notification and a custom claim number will be sent to you. No tracking number is provided, unless you pay for Express shipment. Please use the customs claim number to make inquiries about your shipment, because I cannot do so for you.
- A very large order would mean five or more custom pieces, made to order. In this case,allow 15 days for shipment of the order. Additional charges would apply for RUSH orders.
- All items are normally shipped by me via Registered USPS First Class Mail only, which would take roughly 5-7 USPS business days.
- I also offer expedited or Priority Domestic and International shipping. Please check with me regarding pricing. Priority shipping can be added to INTERNATIONAL orders as well as orders WITHIN THE UNITED STATES.
-I am only the artist and not the USPS. Once your package has been taken to the post office, it is out of my hands and I have no control over the delivery time of your package, although USPS estimates a 2-3 business day delivery for Priority packages.
-Further No Refund will be offered if your item is delayed, lost or misplaced in transit, as it is a loss for me too. Once your item has been delivered to the USPS,it is their responsibility to deliver it to you.
Refunds and Exchanges
-A replacement, at no cost to you, will be provided, if an error is made on my part regarding the content of your order (i.e. personalization in terms of a message , date etc.).
- No replacement (free of cost), will be provided however, if the error stems from your side or if there is a slight variation from the original listing, as all my items are handmade and hand done.
- For Re-created requests (meaning items recreated from another artist(s)):
I can recreate an item at your request. However, a recreation will not match the original in all respects. There will be variations in measurements, etc.. No refund will be given once I have recreated an item for you that has variations from the original, as these are hand made pieces and each artists' work is unique.
-All my items are handmade and hand stamped and there will be variations and differences from time to time and from item to item. It is this aspect that makes a handmade item charming and one of a kind.
- Items leaving my store are checked by me for quality and packaged to ensure no damage. Hence, any damage in transit will not be reimbursed / refunded by me, but you can try contacting the USPS for the same.
- No Guarantees or Warranties exist on any of my items.
Additional Policies and FAQs
-If you would like to purchase more than 5 similar items, customized differently or similarly, please communicate with me via e-mail, so that we could work out the cost for shipping. I do not provide discounts for the item itself, as these are not manufactured on a large scale, but each one is intricately handmade, with great attention to detail.
-Once we decide on a shipping cost, I will then send you a separate invoice, via Pay-Pal. Once this invoice is paid in full, I will start making the item and will ship it to you ASAP. Hence, the sooner you pay, the faster you receive the item.
-All Store announcements regarding dates unavailable etc. are made in the pane, just below my store name. I will always leave my store open, even when I am on leave and any orders received, will be processed and shipped out in the order in which they were received.
