CreativeMavenCo

3 years ago, I was lost. I had started a wedding photography company almost a decade earlier and for all intensive purposes, it was successful. I made the illustrious 6k, I had wonderful clients, and my instagram feed was on par. But I was miserable. I was a self-appointed workaholic, because I could barely function without my laptop. I chose to work instead of eating dinner with my family. I chose to answer emails while sitting on the beach. I couldn’t relax during vacations, because I was convinced my clients “needed” me. After hitting extreme burnout in 2017, I knew I needed to radically change my life and transform the way I did business.

So, at 4:30am one morning, the idea for Creative Maven Co. was born. This is a shop for fellow creatives and small businesses owners, who know the PRESSURE to work 24/7. Chances are, you got into your business with the idea of freedom. Freedom to spend more time with family. Freedom to live your life the way you wanted to. Freedom to manage your own schedule and time.

But when was the last time you felt free? If you are anything like me, perhaps you feel as if you’re tied to your business and can’t escape. Yet deep down, you’re still passionate about what you do!

I created this design shop, with YOU in mind. Yours truly,
Melissa
