I gave this bracelet to my mother who lives in a retirement home. She and others love it so much that Liana (shop owner) has been invited to sell her jewelery at their next craft sale/bazaar!

Welcome to Creative Variance! All pieces are original designs, handcrafted with care by myself. No two pieces are exactly the same, so you are guaranteed to walk out of here with a completely OOAK (one-of-a-kind) piece to add to your collection, or to give to someone else so they can add it to theirs. There is a wide variety of jewellery to choose from, from memory wire bracelets and cuffs, strung jewellery, wire wrapped pieces, and beadwoven bracelets. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact me! All messages will be responded to within a few hours. Thank you for shopping!

PayPal is the preferred payment method, though I will also accept other payment options. If you don’t have a PayPal account and/or don’t wish to use one, please contact me. Safety, both yours and mine, is important.

Payment must be made within 48 hours that order is received. If payment isn’t received within 48 hours, I will cancel the order and the item(s) in that order will be re-listed for others to purchase.
Once payment has been cleared, I will package your item(s) in an organza bag and either into a padded envelope or a small box, depending on the size of the order. New and recycled options are available for both envelopes and boxes, so if you have a preference, please tell me ahead of time.

I try to ship within 24 hours that payment is received. All orders are shipped from London, Ontario, Canada via Canada Post.

If you want/need an order to arrive very quickly, please contact me and we can set up a faster shipping method. If you would like an order to be insured, please contact me. Please note that you will have to pay extra for either of these options.

Please be patient with your order -- I have no control over how quickly or slowly the postal service works! If after four weeks you still have not received your package, or if something has been damaged along the way, please let me know as soon as possible and I will happily work something out with you.

Please note that if you are ordering internationally, you assume all responsibility for any additional fees, taxes, or duties.
Refunds and Exchanges
My motto is to never sell something that I myself wouldn’t buy, so I am confident that you will be happy with the quality of your jewellery purchase! I try to be as accurate with my photographs when portraying the colours as possible, but colours can vary from monitor to monitor depending on settings. If for some reason something is not to your liking, please let me know what I can do to resolve the issue.

Refunds or exchanges are provided for 15 days after the item has arrived. Buyer pays return shipping. In the event of an exchange, new transaction must not be of greater value than previous transaction.

Please note that no refunds or exchanges will be provided in the event that something does not fit. I have taken many measures to ensure that all sizes are provided, and it is the buyer's responsibility to make sure that the product is appropriate for them before buying. (Ie. if you know you have a 9" wrist and order a bracelet which has a listed measurement of 7", a refund will not be rewarded.)
Additional policies and FAQs
First and foremost, and I think this goes without saying, but I must point out that any jewellery you buy from my store is for PERSONAL USE ONLY. You may not buy any of my items only to sell them at a higher price for a profit, nor may you buy them just to rip off the design and create your own items. I designed and made all of these items all on my own, so please don't steal from me.

I take all of my photos in a home-made macro lightbox, using a Fujifilm Finepix camera. I edit some photos after taking them to make sure the colours are as close as possible to the actual product. Sometimes, this may mean sacrificing the colour of another object in the photo, or the colour of the background, in order to attain the best result possible.

All objects seen in product photos are my own possessions. They are not for sale.

All materials are, of course, under each product listing. For further information and detail on certain materials, though, I thought I would post a few things here.

Lead -- First and foremost, I need to point this fact out: in order for something to be called a legitimate "crystal", it contains lead! It bugs me to see that some people label their jewellery as being "lead-free" even when it contains crystals. They are lead crystal. This is what gives them their shine. Swarovski crystals (manufactured in Austria) have a lead content of approximately 30%; Crystazzi crystals (manufactured in China) have a lead content of approximately 25%+; Czech crystals (manufactured in Czech Republic) have a lead content of approximately 24%.

Silver-plated/Gold-plated -- These start with a base metal and are then coated with a silver or gold plating. Silver-plated jewellery or findings are of lesser value than sterling silver, but they're also not going to tarnish as easily. Likewise, gold-plated jewellery and findings are of a lesser value, but they won't tarnish. None of my base metals contain nickel, including any German wire that is used for wire-wrapping.

Nickel -- None of my products contain nickel. Too many people are allergic to it, myself included (I have probably the most allergy-prone body out there, so if something contained nickel, I would know!).

TierraCast -- The awareness ribbon beads used in the Charity/Awareness section of my shop are made by a company called TierraCast. The base metal is a lead-free pewter alloy (so safe that you could eat off of materials made from it), and it goes through an electroplating process to be coated with a fine antique silver finish, which is of a higher quality than your usual run-of-the-mill silver plating.

I chose these particular charities to donate to because they are very dear to me. I have been in contact with most of them, and they’ve been very helpful in sorting out the donation process. This is how it will work: I’ll be keeping track of each item sold, and to whom. Once a large enough amount has been raised for each charity, I’ll submit a donation online in my name, and they will send me a note verifying that I have donated. This can be forwarded to you as proof that 25% of the proceeds have indeed gone to charity. You can let me know whether you would like a copy sent through mail or email.

I am now doing custom items upon request. Because my health is all over the place, I will let you know if I am unable to do your item at that time for any reason (undergoing treatment, etc.); otherwise, please allow up to 10 days for completion depending on the complexity of your order. Remember to be as detailed as possible with what you would like and I will let you know if I can make it happen!

If you would like a reserved listing, please contact me. I can list it either under your first name or your username, depending on what you prefer. Please note that I only keep reserved listings up for 10 days, at which point, if you haven't completed this transaction, I will then re-list the item(s) for others to purchase. If for some reason you can't complete the transaction within 10 days, and you would like me to keep the item(s) set aside for you for a longer period, please contact me and we can work it out.

Buying matching sets is cheaper than buying the items individually. If you see a matching set that you like, which includes a necklace, bracelet, and earrings, visit you can visit the "matching sets" section of the store, where all items are bundled together under one listing. The price of the entire set is less than all of the items if you purchased them individually.

Orders more than $25 will receive a free gift. Orders over $50 will receive a free gift and a discount code on their return visit.

I believe that communication is key in any relationship, including seller and buyer, so please don’t hesitate to contact me if you ever have any questions, comments, or concerns. I usually respond within a few hours. (Unless it’s during the night and I’m asleep!)

Please remember that this is a one-woman show! I get the supplies, I come up with the designs, I make the jewellery (including any custom orders), I take the photos, and I ship the orders. I have a lot of things to juggle, so while I try to make things go as smoothly and swiftly as possible, there may be a stitch that goes awry from time to time.

Thank you for shopping in my little corner of Etsy, and I sincerely hope you’ve enjoyed your experience with Creative Variance. Come back soon!
