I finished my 'Different is Beautiful' illustration featuring Albert on Wheels and am selling prints in my Etsy shop. 5% of the profit will be donated to The Little Pink Shelter who rescued Albert.

Creating Handmade, Quality Products While Helping the World.

Creative With A Cause was created by Rachell Coe as a way to sell her pet portraits, wine photography and nature inspired knits while helping out good causes by donating 5% of all profits to a variety of non-profit organizations. As this business grows, we hope to add more products and more creatives to the team.

Giving back has always been EXTREMELY important to Rachell - she started volunteering at a local hospital when she was only 13 years old and since then has volunteered and donated to many worthy causes such as teaching the elderly to work computers, coaching team sports for youth in at-risk neighborhoods, mentoring at-risk teens, raising money door-to-door for the Red Cross (right after 9/11), volunteering website and photography services for the humane society and local ferret shelter - all while raising a family, starting multiple businesses and taking in every sick or abandoned animal her kids and their friends brought over.

I LOVE animals and over the years have rescued and/or adopted cats, dogs, squirrels, possums, rats, ferrets and even a pig! (You can understand why I choose to draw pet portraits :)

VistaPrint would allow me to offer products that I'm unable to make myself such as t-shirts and coffee cups -- all at affordable prices.

Frequently asked questions

Portrait Turn Around Time

Approximately 1 to 2 Weeks. You’ll receive a mockup of the composition and colors within the first 5 business days after payment is confirmed and I receive the pictures and info to create your illustration.. Once you’ve viewed the mockup you need to let me know any minor changes you want me to make or if we are good to move forward on the project. Once this phase is finalized, I’ll finish up the drawing and send you a low resolution proof of your portrait within 5 to 8 business days.

Please, send several photos of your pet, via etsy conversation or e-mail directly to rachell @
The photos should:
~ include at least one good facial close-up with good representation of hairstyle and face shape, if possible maintain eye contact with the camera. Avoid sunglasses....etc.
~ Include a clear, detailed image of the pet in the pose you want me to use for the portrait.
~ Make sure at least one image is taken in natural light so it shows accurate colors
~If you are having me draw multiple pets, you can send photos separately or together of each pet
You can take the photos with your smartphone too, but avoid close selfies please (too short distance between camera and face makes nose much bigger then normal)

Screen VS Print Colors

Please keep in mind that colors vary from printer to printer and are displayed differently depending on the monitor you are viewing the images on, this is out of my control. If you need specific colors you can send me the HTML, CMYK or RGB codes and I will be happy to use them in your design.
