Tokyo based Haruhi Okubo studied industrial design and designed children's playgrounds before picking up a ball of wool and a needle to become one of the forerunners in contemporary needlework. In 2009 she formed her studio Cresus Artisanat from where she hand makes textiles from bags to rugs.
